Buddy, I'd go for a medium. My height is 5'8" and my weight is 191 pounds. The size large is perfect for me.
This is not the kind of Carhartt quality you'd expect. Check out my photo-based review. I wore it for the fourth time this year. It's already 'piling up' in a number of locations. Carhartt Sweatshirt is thinner than my other Carhartt Sweatshirts. After only four wears, it resembles Old Navy quality (no offense), but for the price of this one, I could have bought three.

I wear a Large in their jackets, and a Large in most other brands' shirts and hoodies, but a Large in Carhartt's products (t-shirts, hoodies, etc. ) does not fit. They are made for layering (shirts, hoodies, some style jackets, etc. ) so if you don't plan on layering, order a size down from your normal size. Even after washing, the Medium in this fits me like any other Large. At first I ordered a Large and it was way too big and considering its 50% polyester it wouldn't have significantly even in a hot water wash it wouldn't have significantly sh So, the product is great in and of itself, but when ordering, keep in mind the sizing differences.

It's quite warm; for example, if you're working outside and the temperature is in the 40s or 50s, you'll be fine; however, if you stay inside at the supply house for too long, you'll become overheated. Although the brown is dark, it isn't black. br>br>It's a little bigger than expected in terms of sizing, but the material is thick enough that it doesn't look ridiculous. It's just a lot of space. The sleeves are long enough for me, which I appreciate. I'm tall and thin, but I think it'll fit even a bigger guy fine; the material's thickness somehow makes it all work. I tried it on at a local store, but the color I wanted wasn't available, so I ordered it online.

After reading several sizing reviews, I decided to go with the small. I wanted it to be a little tighter. Then I had second thoughts about it and wanted to make sure it would fit, so I canceled and ordered a medium. I'm 5'8" and weigh around 180 pounds, so the small would have been perfect for me. The medium is a little looser than I'd like, but it'll work for layering. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: returned to the store and purchased a small item.
I bought this sweatshirt for my boyfriend and was very pleased with the quality. However, before ordering, I read other reviews and decided to go down a size because they said it ran large, which I completely agree with. I would have given five stars if it hadn't been for the fact that it was so large. Another important point to remember is that this sweatshirt is thick and designed to keep you warm. If my boyfriend was going to be inside all day, I'm not sure he'd wear it. It is, however, ideal for cold days and cold weather.
My husband is 6'4 and has a long torso, so finding hoodies and tops that don't shrink after washing is extremely difficult for him. We've tried sizing up to a 2x in other hoodies, but he looks boxy. This is available in two sizes: large and tall, and is ideal for larger men. The hoodie is a good fit for him and has enough length to prevent it from shrinking and turning into a tube top! This is his third Carhartt hoodie, and we'll keep buying them because they're well-made and can withstand all of his manly activities (hunting, fishing, working on cars, and even "hold my beer" moments). This hoodie, as well as any other Carhartt product, comes highly recommended!.
But, to our surprise, it fit even better than he expected and will not shrink. It's been washed and dried, but it's still dirty. corresponds to the same Witch is fantastic, and I'll be buying it in a smaller size next time.
My height is 5'3" and my weight is around 200 pounds. I have a lot of muscle and prefer not to wear clothes that are too tight. I bought this as a Christmas present for my mother, who has a longer torso than I do and thus requires more breast space. So whatever she can wear, I can usually wear as well because our body types are similar. I normally wear an XL (I ordered an XL) and this has so much more room that I almost bought a L to make it fit a little tighter (it would have still been loose on me), but it's perfect for work and outside, and I like the roominess, so I'm sure she'll love it. If you're a woman buying this and thinking you'll need to size up, you probably won't.
