I didn't realize how much it shrank until it dried

My favorite part was how well it fit and how it looked. It shrank even after running it under cold water and letting it air dry. There's too much room now. It's a medium, which is my size. I'm not sure whether I should buy a large or if I should instead find a shirt that will not.
