The best shirt I could find on (the) Amazon was the Dickies henley hat. I bought Good Threads and Eddie Bauer shirts. As a result, I have found the following.
I believe Dickies is the best choice for a rugged work shirt. It is made from the strongest cotton available, washes well, and I have always found that Dickies offers a better value than its nearest competitor, Carhartt. At half the cost, you're getting the same material you'd get at the following two websites. However, this is not waffle. Among the Good Threads, their material was the lightest and cheapest. After just one wash, it had aged and shrunk noticeably. There was also a slimmer fit with this. In a work environment, however, it would be quickly destroyed. As soon as the first wash was complete, it shrank significantly. The second issue is the poor quality of the material. Although the fabric is warm and thick, it is thin, so it can be seen through. The ivory color I chose had more yellow tones than I wanted, but it fit within my budget. In the online picture, the color appeared close to white. However, it should become more like "bacon" after a few washes. A wave is just wavey and sloppy looking as soon as it loses its form.
I would like to emphasize again that, overall, I am happy with every piece of Goodthreads clothing I have purchased, with the exception of this one.
