As long as the pants leg is not too thick, I can tuck one inside them when buckling them if I buy them 1/2 size larger than my normal shoe size!

It is fantastic to have such a large opening. A prior reviewer mentioned that it would be better if the flap folded inside the leg, and the clips were on the inside. With the clips on the outside, we had to split his pants legs about 2 inches on one side in order to get them over his.

Those are the facts of life. These boots are great, but I really love them. I think I did My foot doctor always sells me shoe inserts that are two sizes too big for me to wear. It's two sizes too big for them even though these are 2 sizes too small. Despite that, they do fit very well.

It's great to have boots that are insulated. I think these are better than before. There are some regular rubber boots that are insulated, but I cannot wear heavy flannel-lined jeans in I really like these because they have a buckle that can be opened up so that I can adjust the calf size. I can wear heavier pants and lined pants and also tuck them This is a great winter outfit! Their love for them is great.

It felt like part of the heal on the right side of the boot was missing

I did not expect any problems with the foot area. The only problem I ran into was that my calves are a little bigger than usual, so I couldn't buckle up the two buckles along the side of the boot. Others have also had similar issues, so be aware if you have larger calves. This made the boot way too uncomfortable. My right foot felt like the heal on the boot was missing. This made the boot look cheap, making it appear worn out. As a result, I plan to return these boots because they are no use in their current condition or fit.
