On the tag of my boots, I found a China label that says (surprise!) "Made in China."
All of my rubber boots usually come in a size 11 My regular shoes were a size 12 but these were much bigger and did not fit as well around my ankles as they should. They fit pretty well in the size 10. Originally, they were an 11, but in the size 10, they worked out. It would have been better if there were half sizes, but otherwise these are fine. My feet and ankles need to fit snug around my ankles and feet when I wear them in rivers fishing.
My impression is that they are lined with a fabric like material. These hose are extremely comfortable to wear and have a removable footed for easy cleaning. In my hometown of Minnesota, I wear them when deer hunting up until around December 1st. I also put them on without socks for morning trips to shovel snow or start our vehicles. This is a pair I would buy again, and the size was true to size.

My boots are brand new after I returned the Alpha Burly Pros that I had purchased previously. Despite their large and clunky size, the Pros simply didn't fit in my hands. Their design made them difficult to walk in and unnatural to sit in. I was pleasantly surprised by these boots, however. It seems that they are very well constructed and come with a small amount of insulation, which together with wool socks give me just the right amount of warmth. It didn't matter if I stepped through several inches of mud and snow or walked around for hours. There was minimal moisture on my feet and they stayed warm. As well as providing a great deal of flexibility, they don't pinch your skin uncomfortably as you squat. Until now, I have only used these for shooting traps in a local spot and walking around the property, but I am confident that they would work well for upland bird hunting (which I intend to test in the coming months). There were several friends of mine who commented on them and were impressed with the build quality (concrete and construction workers) who go through boots every year. The size 12 I ordered fit perfectly. I normally wear a size 13, but I ordered these in a 12. Their size is about a half size smaller than a standard pair of shoes. Historically, they seem to be a bit different from modern muck boots. They have an old world charm as opposed to most modern ones. This might not seem that significant to some of you, but it may be important to others. My intention is to buy another pair of these if they hold up well.
There was a mismatch in the first pair. I measured both boots as size 13, but one was 1/2" shorter than the other and I could not pull it on. Compared to my previous pairs (all made in China) these replacement pairs fit consistently but do not have as good an ankle fit as all my previous pairs and my foot will slid up/down a little while walking.
It might still be the best boot out there, but not the same one I used to buy from their outlet store in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. There are no tight ankle fits in the new boots at all. These boots used to fit tight around the ankles. With an ankle fit, you have no trouble taking them on and off, but without one, your heels slide around like crazy. As other reviewers have stated, they are covered with some sort of slime. There is also an imperfection in the seam in the toe of the left boot, which reflects a significant decline in quality from before. While I'm keeping them, I wish I still had the boots I bought in the past.
I find the air grip to be slightly more comfortable than the Both of them have been my experience. As well as being extremely warm, these boots look great. Designed to be a great snow machining boot. It also keeps your feet dry if you get stuck in overflow and have to get off and push. Some people use bunny boots, but these seem the same or even warmer and provide more protection against the elements. You can also hike to the area while on a hunting trip or while Before, I would not wear off the tread of previous pairs of shoes for years to come. I have not seen dry rot or cracking of the lacrosse rubber, as is the case with some.
I received the boots in good condition and they are waterproof When the temperature was 32 degrees, I needed these boots to wear in the swamp and pull debris out of a drainage ditch. I kept my feet warm both day and night with cotton socks of standard weight. The light is terrific for activity, but it might not be suitable The padding around the foot is only there for foot protection, so angle and calf feel cold when standing in 12" deep water or working. There is good traction on the sole and heel, but they are not as wide as muck boots. Using this method, I was able to remove the boot without it falling off my foot after being sucked into 12" of swamp muck. Movement is not blocked by them, but they do not stay put.
Long portages are no problem with this bag. In the early spring, before it melts out, and late in the season skiing in Quetico, these are my go-to boots. It is impossible for the sole and grip to fail even on slippery or slimy It's easy to roll up and let dry out over night or when the vent is open. The insole should be removed once the boots are wet and filled with water, allowing the boots and insole to dry out thoroughly. Please don't play sports that are too hot or too tight. My rubber boots have lasted a very long time. I have tried other brands over the years, but these are the best. There is nothing I love more than Waterfowlers and farmers alike will find it useful for hunting waterfowl and gardening. Anyone venturing into the BWCA and Quetico area would be well advised to stay here. This will ensure that your feet are not harmed and that they are protected from leaks.
The fit was perfect, the quality was excellent, and the price was reasonable The sole has the best traction for all terrain, so you can go hunting of any kind. The style of lug in this lug gives superior traction by far to all the other styles I have tried and used during my hunting years. This is a design for a sole. It's a pair of boots and a pair of pants The items I bought for my son were of such high quality that I bought them for myself.
This is to replace a previous pair which I wore out (wore out the tread completely) after two years of use on the farm in the Pacific climate. It didn't take long for this latest pair of shoes to leak, unlike the previous pair which were discovered after a At this point, the tread is about 50% deep. A shift by The LaCrosse Corporation to a non-toxic fragrance has been cited by other reviewers as reducing quality Designed and manufactured in the United States. It does not make me a happy camper whatever the reason for early failure may be. A pair that is 18" tall would be the only reason for me to order another pair. While other brands reach a lesser height, Hoover seems to top out. A few inches can make all the difference in the world when it comes to dry feet.
