Well, the thinsulates are 800g and the thickness varies depending on the individual. As for me, I wear these boots wading and fishing in Michigan in negative temperatures with thick wool socks.
The weight is 800g, which is not bad. There's a good chance it's going to be pretty darn cold if you're walking. While you are hunting, toe warmers may be required if the weather is Boots made of Muck rubber are preferable to me. My lacrosse's strap on the calf broke after just a few uses. It has that goofy buckle on it that doesn't last. There is no way to easily replace them because they are flimsy
Although they may be better than nothing, these boots do not have the "snake boot" rating. The company does make boots that are specifically made to keep snakes away, but they mention that in the product name.
They work well down to about 25 degrees for deer hunting, which is the only use I've had. I have two 1600g pairs of gloves to use below that temperature

In the first place, the wrong prints were sent to me. The ones they sent me were not the ones I ordered, which was disappointing, but since we live in Hawaii I decided to just keep them as they were and not As long as they fit and were durable, I assumed they'd do what they were supposed to do. Due to the nature of my life on a farm, my footwear must be durable, especially in the The seam of these boots cracked after 4 months, which is a great shame. We are unable to work on them because the cracks made holes where mud and water easily entered, making them useless. In addition, the camos print on the boots was only successful for maybe a couple of weeks before it peeled off, and at this point there is hardly any CAMO print left on them and those parts that are there are.
Have been using them since I've had lots of people compliment my boots as well. You don't feel weighed down by it when you're moving, but it is not light either. The shoe is beginning to leak after a month and a half of use, and a small section of the design has begun to show. As a result, I am extremely disappointed. This product is very much to my liking.
They did not wrap around my ankle and keep the boot tight. There was no room for an 11. I should have chosen a 12 instead of a 13. You will still be able to run despite wearing a thick sock. It has a more snug ankle than the other brand I chose. Normally, I would have gone with the full size, but perhaps a half size would have been best. It was a great looking shoe, but my foot just didn't fit in it.
My normal size is 9, so these boots are perfect for me. Since the socks are wide, I get a 10 and they fit great with a pair of wool socks. Having hunted in most of the weather we can get here in the northeast, they work every time. In comparison with most rubber boots, they feel much more like regular shoes. When I wear wool socks all day, I usually use a liner sock inside, so that I can keep my feet warm and reduce It may be necessary to purchase two pairs if you will be wearing them all day and alternating them so one set can dry since they do not breathe as well as regular shoes.
The boots are warmer and more comfortable right out of the box than any of the boots I have - I've tried several pairs of boots, and while they have worked well, they lack the comfort and warmth of these boots. In these boots you can't feel the snow on the ground even though there are about a foot of snow on the ground right now. The kind of boots I'm wearing right now are the kind I'll never go without Come on, let's do some cold weather.
There were problems with the boots, and they had to be replaced. As a result of Outdoor Equipped's no exchange policy I had to ship it back (over $20) and would have had to pay a 20% restocking fee had I not ordered a smaller size I find this return/exchange policy to be unreasonable in our current day and age when Zappos does not charge return shipping or restocking fees if the size isn't accurate. While I am satisfied with the smaller sized boots, Outdoor Equipped has terrible policies, which is why I do not recommend purchasing The boots would qualify however as a great choice for hunters who would like their socks to stay.
There is no need to buy a larger size as some of the posts suggest. I think they were too tight around the ankle, so your foot wouldn't slip out. They were stiff and narrow, too narrow and too small for my taste. It's thinly insulated and there's not enough room for to add a couple pairs of In exchange for a refund, I returned them. For what I need, they might work okay for someone else, but not for me. A 14 medium is too small for me, and my toe touches the end of the shoe.
One of the best purchases I've made so far in 2016. The hood is easy to put on and take I like it a lot. The shoes do not move around very much in my feet, so I can hike for a long time in them. The size of the shoe depends on the company, but I typically wear a 10 1/2-11 depending on the size. The width of my feet is also a bit wider than normal. It was a perfect fit for me when I was an 11.
