Well, this is 800g of thinsulate, and it can be different for each My personal preference is to wear these boots when hunting and fishing in Michigan in negative temperatures with thick wool socks.
There are 800g in each of them, which is not bad. There can be some pretty darn cold weather when you are walking. In below freezing temperatures, you may want to wear toe warmers. These Muck boots are the ones I prefer. calf strap on the lacrosse is ridiculous and breaks after only a few uses. The buckle broke on mine after only a few use. There is no easy way to replace them and they are flimsy
The boots do not qualify as snake boots, but it may be better than nothing. As a matter of fact, Lacrosse makes boots that are specifically designed to offer snake protection, but they indicate it in the name.
They work well down to about 25 degrees, which I have only encountered when deer hunting. If the temperature is below that, then I have a pair of 1600gs

The first issue was that I was sent the wrong print boot. The ones they sent me were not the ones I ordered, which was really disappointing, but as I live in Hawaii, I just kept them and did not complain about them. As long as they fit and were durable, I assumed they would do the job. I always look for durability in my boots since I live on a farm, especially during the I was sorry to find out these boots cracked at the seam after only 4 months. We couldn't use them because the cracks made holes where mud and water could get in, making them completely useless. As a matter of fact, the print on my boots only lasted a few weeks before peeling off. Currently, my boots have almost no CAMO print left on them, and the areas that are still there are really.
Today is the first day I used them. In addition, I have been complimented on my boots a lot. When you're on the go, it's not light, but you don't feel it when it's on. I've been wearing the shoes for one year and a half and they are leaking, and part of the design is coming off. This is really disappointing for me. It is an excellent product which I like very.
There is no point in putting a 12 in. I have no problem wearing thick socks even when they're cold. A brand that had a snugger ankle fit was more comfortable for me. Although I wanted these to work, perhaps a half size would have been a better fit. The shoe looked amazing, but I found that it did not fit my foot well.
A 9 would usually fit me in these boots, but I normally wear a 10. It is a 5-wide, so I get them in a 10 and they work great with a wool sock. In the Northeast, I've hunted in practically all kinds of weather. I've had no problems with them. In comparison with ordinary rubber boots, they feel more like a normal shoe. To keep my feet warm and dry during the day, I usually wear liner socks inside wool socks, which keep my feet warm and prevent You'd need to get two pair if you plan on wearing them all day. Because they do not breathe as well as a normal shoe, you'll need to alternate the pair each day.
I work a lot outside at work and we are experiencing deep freezes. The boots I own are not close to how warm and comfortable these are right out of the box. I have several pairs and they work okay, but they aren't as comfortable or warm as these boots. In these boots you can barely feel the snow on the ground, even though there is about a foot of snow on the ground. The kind of boots I have on now will never be replaced. It's time to go outside and work in the cold!.
I find this to be an outdated return/exchange policy in the present day. There was a problem with the boots and they had to be returned. The exchange policy at Outdoor Equipped caused me to have to pay return shipping (over $20) as well as a 20% restocking fee. I would have been able to avoid both fees if I had gotten a smaller size. Zappos does not charge a return shipping fee or restocking fee if the size isn't correct. I find this to be a bad return/exchange policy in today's day and age. Outdoor Equipped has terrible policies, so I would not recommend buying anything from them. I am satisfied with the smaller sized boots, but I would not recommend this company for any purchases. Despite this, these boots are a great option for any hunter who cares about their socks staying.
I didn't feel the boots ran be a size large like some have said. Their arch support was too small, stiff, narrow, and tight around the ankle, which I think keeps your foot in place. A couple pairs of thermal socks cannot be added to the insulation due to shortage of room. It was a no-brainer to send them back. Others may be able to use them fine, but I don't need them for what I need. Wearing a size 14 medium, my toe edged the end of the shoe.
Buying this thing was my best decision of the Simple to put on and take This is a very warm day. The shoes do not move around in them, so I can hike for a long time in them without wearing socks. The shoe company I wear typically fits a 10 1/2 to an 11 depending on my size. As well as having a wide foot, I have a big toe. It was perfect for me to wear an 11.
