The size 10 is my usual size. My 10 shoe was just returned. I just bought a 5. For a size 11, you need five boots. My only wish is that I had read the reviews first! Fortunately, Amazon's return policy is fantastic!
As far as the shank support goes, these boots are a type B3 boot, compatible with Having worked with Black Diamond full auto crampons for more than a year, this pair works perfectly. However, I have no idea whether it has a steel shank or nylon/plastic/other type of shank. Please let me know if this helps
If they got really wet or down the road or if they are rough out leather, then it might be possible
As a member of the Shot crew, I spent two seasons working with these. My current set should last this season, so I just bought another one to break in for next

Boots like these are good for mountaineering since they are stiff. This is what I need because it has a wider forefoot than a heel. In terms of rating, I would have given these boots a 4. 5 or 5 star rating, except for the tongue of the boot and the way it caused me to wear my toes out. As a result of the tongue hitting my toes in the wrong place, there is an "indentation" in the boot, which will have to be worked out by stretching the tongue, softening it, and adjusting the laces. There were blisters on the tops of my toes as a result of the slight indention. My toes and heels did not get blisters. However, I did not have any issues with blisters between my toes or on my sides. For Scarpa boots, the toe box is a little narrower than I expected it to be. It has been just over 150 miles since I purchased the boots, and they seem to be settling in Certainly these boots do not fit into the category of "out-there" Here's the link Including all the components of the "box" fit and requiring a very long and arduous break-in process As of the beginning of the Heavy loads are no problem for the boots, thanks to their excellent grips and feel While they may only be slightly less comfortable than a good pair of hiking boots (and this was not expected), they do make a noble effort to be stylish. Boots that appear to adhere to the highest standards of construction I've hiked 150 miles in my boots and they look like new. In addition, I have a Black-Eyed Susan This is a diamond sabre Step into the teeth - Those crampons fit perfectly with the boots. It seems like Salewas will be the best option for warm-ups Those who want to go mountaineering in colder weather should use the Wrangells. Please let me know if you have any additional suggestions for treating the indentation in the tongue.
All winter I have used them Day in and out, long before the fire season (6 months before the season started). It took me a long time to break in these boots because of that period. Their stiffness, toughness, and simplicity make them appealing to users. Approximately six months after being bought, and after a trip to the foot doctor, these puppies have finally broken Please listen to what I have to say. Leaving this place will never be an option for me. I never will. I highly recommend these boots because they are tough, incredibly comfortable (once they are broken in), and extremely stylish! As a way to combat swamp foot and add a bit of cushion, I replaced the stock insole with some 9mm wool felt from Brand Felt. This boot is the only way to combat the odor problem created by white, nick, and Hoffman boots, which cannot be rebuilt. It is inevitable that you will need to replace them eventually. However, besides that, everything else is great! This is amazing! I'll add a PS at the end. Listed below are some tips to get you started You'll be able to tie them on your feet a lot better if you do it standing up.
I got the larger size by mistake, but they fit great. They're not as good as loggers when it comes to hiking in particular, because you'll slide more when going downhill. Their warmth will probably make your feet sweat, but they are comfortable. If you've been working on a fire, you've probably noticed your boots shrink after a mop up. They feel great as soon as you slide them on. far, pretty good, I am pleased with them. I do recommend that everyone own both types of.
I have never worn a pair of boots so well made. My only equipment is a pair of You have to be careful when waring them for the first time. Nevertheless, I have tried every other option out there, and they outlast them all. My feet require support, every day in and day out, while I am up a ladder most of the time. These are the only boots
That I wear. It is rare for me to have boots last more than six Since I've had these for over a year and a half, they are still working great. It's a pleasure to be around them.
If you plan to purchase a mountaineering boot, make sure yo do your research. I bought this boot 1 1/2 sizes bigger than my normal size 9w in military boots from the US and 9 size in boots from other countries. In Salomon, there are five. It took me ten years to get these boots. I loved the fit, but for some reason my ankle felt like it would slip out of place probably because I could not move it properly. Scarpa Fuego is the first shoe that I have ever experienced this problem with. In addition to that, there is the Gore-Tex The waterproofing portion of Tex Pro only reaches ankle level, which is where the black rubber padding at the back of the boots ends. find these boots to be very sturdy, but disappointing when it comes to If I don't buy another pair of Scarpa Fuegos, I will probably buy another pair of Scarpa Fuegos. A double tongue design from Scarpa for a more secure fit is nice.
I received the boots in a box that was in rough shape after being shipped across the country. It appeared that the boots had not been damaged. I am impressed with how durable the boots are right out of the box. My first impression is that they feel pretty stiff out of the box and I believe they will stand up to wear. In the future, I'll update this review once I've broken them.
Redwing Fire Boots were worn out and I wanted to replace them with these boots. It has been one season since I bought the boots and I am very pleased with them. It is very difficult to break in the boots while wearing them, but after a few weeks I don't even think about them anymore. These hiking style fire boots are not to be missed if you are in search of a fire boot.
One of the best pairs of boots I've ever Once they have been worn in a little, they are very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it! My opinion is that they are much better than straight leather wildland boots.
