Questions & Answers

Comparing the Merrell Men's All Out Blaze Aero Sport Hiking Water Shoe to the Merrell Men's All Out Blaze Sieve Water Sandal, which is the better water shoe? Why is there more to life than money?

Evmoore and DLH are wrong. The Aero Sport has an open heel while the Sieve has a closed There are two products that are very different from each other.

Do you think medium will fit my need for extra wide?

In the past, I have bought my husband wide shoes. It was a good purchase to buy the 15 mediums. These are very comfortable for him, he claims.

Is it necessary for me to get one ?

It's not a bad idea to buy half a size smaller than what you The size 9 was too small for me and I wore a 10. A few days later, I sent back the 10 and got 5. There was no way to fit the 10 on the paper.

The shoes I have fit my wide feet well
3/5

They are water shoes, and I usually don't wear socks while wearing them because they are usually out of the water.

The type of water environment you enter will determine how you react
5/5

This was one of the shoes I bought after comparing many water shoe models and reading A pair of sneakers I would use for water sports and hiking on trails that crossed several streams and involved walking near water falls was what I was looking for. Having owned the shoes for about a month now, I am very pleased with them. I would recommend these shoes to anyone because they are comfortable and fit well. It is possible to wear socks both with Whenever I check in at the airport in the United States, I wear them while removing my shoes. If I wear socks with them, I do so in these instances. My hiking and canoeing boots don't require socks when I wear them. In a mix of paved, gravel, and dirt trails, I have hiked anything between five and eight miles per day using them over a period of up to four days. My feet did not rub or experience any other discomfort while wearing these Throughout the trails there were both ups and downs as well as flat paths, so the shoes were good solid protection from the stones and sticks on the trail. rivers or creeks with large stepping stones such as river rocks (i. e. There is a rounded edge, not a flat one. If the rock was wet, rather than dry), and if walking over wet granite rock made the shoes non-slip, the shoes became more of a hazard than In addition, I found that when I was hiking over wet metal grates that have been used around some of the water falls I have been hiking around, they also lost their There were other hikers in my group who were wearing traditional low top hiking shoes (not boots) and they had no problem while walking on the granite and on the metal grating. We tested them in small river rock stream beds, mud streams crossing dirty dirt roads, and mud flats/sand along the lake shore (canoeing) (they didn't do so well in clay mud, but I have yet to find a shoe that does). I was able to clean them off easily, but if they weren't left out in the sun, they just really took forever to dry. I have left them to dry overnight a few times, but in the morning they were still damp. When I first took them off, I found it easy to wash any mud off of them by spraying them with a hose or by rinsing them off in a lake or stream. As long as I am walking on dry ground or mud that isn't too deep, I have not had any issues with rocks/sticks getting in my shoes. My shoes have gotten mud in them when walking through streams and lakeshore mud flats, but I wiped them off as soon as I got out of the stream/mudflat and continued hiking. As far as chaffing goes, neither dry nor wet, they've never bothered me. They fit very well. It is a sand beach that I have worn them. In dry sand, I wouldn't wear them, but I could wear them in damp sand. In dry sand, they just kept getting sand in them and I would have to stop every two or three steps to shake them out. Generally, I like the shoes but they do not work very well when hiking in wet rocks. You may want to keep looking if this is what you want shoes for. If you are looking for a boot to use when canoeing, hiking or camping, this should be the shoe. It is built out of water resistant material and can handle mud, sand, and sand.

The price is definitely worth it

These have been my go-to hiking shoes for over five months, and during that time I have trekked through rivers and mud, crossed ropes courses, waded in salt water and even used them on my mountain bike. They have held up as well as you could expect. I found them to be completely comfortable the first time I wore them. Even though I am extremely hard on most of my items, they have lasted better than expected. No matter what they are barefoot on, they can keep their grip on most surfaces, even if the rocks are slippery. Even if they get dirty, they are pretty easy to clean and I have been able to wash them The cons are Wood with a slick surface is not handled well by the shoes. My attention has been drawn to this issue more than once. However, I expected them to grip better on other surfaces since they are not as grippable on other surfaces as most shoes. You should wear them a day or two before you plan to use them heavily. After putting them on, I went on a full day hike and a few sore spots were the result. Blisters were close to getting but I did not get them. After that first day, I did not have the issue again.

Once you have used the product for a while, update
5/5

Upon returning from rafting the Grand Canyon, I gave an update after 8 days. I will be direct and to the point These shoes were my only footwear for 8 days while taking a rafting trip through the Grand Canyon down the Colorado river. As a result, I wore them when I hiked rocky slopes, wade streams, walked over wet rocks, walked in and out of fine sand areas, wade many rivers and so forth. My colleagues and I were wet probably 85% of the time (during the day). The team exceeded my expectations and met all my needs. As soon as they dried, they were ready to go. These washing gloves were easy on and off to rinse out sand. Note, I observed my fellow travelers with nearly every brand and they all got sand in them and had to rinse them all. These were quick and easy to wash, For a shoe of such an extreme nature (I think), this was an extreme circumstance. It is a pleasure to do business with you. Having read reviews before I bought them, I attempted to determine the most effective solution since we all do that. became alarmed after reading that the Vibram soles would be slick on wet rock, as some reviewers have stated. My experience did not support such a claim. It was as stable and secure as one might expect. There were a number of rocks in this area that were smooth and often wet, but my shoes held up just fine. Let's face it, wet rocks, mossy rocks, muddy rocks are all slick and nothing will hold 100%. Prior to making any commitment, I planned ahead by stepping on a wet rock and pushing and pulling to see how slippery the ground It was always acceptable for friction and grip to be in place in The mountaineering and hiking boots have a really solid base and provide good support against cactus pricks, stubbed toes, and the like. My experience with them is that the solid Vibram sole will last you a long time. I do not know how long mine will last, as I've had them for only a few months. Overall, these shoes make a good choice if you want a highly comfortable water shoe that is stable, wearable, and so forth. A review of the original product It's only been a week or so since I got these. They seem to be quite good so far. In September I'm going on a rafting trip through the Grand Canyon and I bought these to wear. After that, I will post an update.
