I've bought several pairs of pants in the past, and they are all defective. Some of them tear at the back pockets, and other pairs the Wrangler emblem begins coming off the back pocket. As far as the stitching is concerned, I love wrangler pants, they're always a good choice. There is a lack of structural integrity in the retros.
My understanding of what you mean by opening the leg is unclear. The openings of the pants are 8" wide at ankle level if they are lying flat

It would be nice if Wrangler (and other companies) would use the waist size that really corresponds to my own. My waist is 32 and the size 32 jeans are far too big for me. It may be ok to wear a size 31 but a size 30 is the best fit. If you like a snug, comfortable fit, buy two sizes smaller. A baggy fit should be expected if you buy your actual size. This is a book I would recommend. Jeans with a nice fit.

I can't believe how well they fit. A six-footer who weighs 200 pounds and wears size XL, these jeans are just snugly enough to look good on my legs and butt while still giving me some room to move. It's more of a skinny jean than a slim straight jean, compared to my other big name jeans. The only reason I'm not buying more is that I found these by accident and now have 4 pairs. The shoes I'm wearing are perfect for me, although I won't tell anyone what to wear.
Those jeans are great! There was some extra room than I expected in the fit. They are slim fit and I thought that they would fit snugger since they are regular size. The jeans fit perfectly this time since they have some stretch in them. There is plenty of room in the waist and thighs because of their stretch. Overall, I liked these jeans so much that I ordered 3 more pairs. It might be a good idea to go down a size with these jeans.
The Amazon price was better than what I was used to buying them at Academy. Fit is the same for both numbers. The issue is not an issue.
Previously owned a pair of similar jeans which I had to retire at the knees to turn into a pair of work jeans. I got a replacement pair and the color is slightly different than the ones I had previously, but they are still my favorite jeans.
