Questions & Answers

Do they last a long time?

The past few years. This is a sturdy and thick product! We have had some of the same pair working on the farm for the last 6 years and also driving trucks for that period of time. Now they're much thinner and not as rigid, but it depends on what you intend to use them for. I would say yes, if it was casual every day. It has nothing to do with blue collar work

The fabric is not stretch and if it says 100% cotton it is in fact 98% cotton and 2% spandex. So why not explain better since ficus is stretch and I hate stretch fit fabrics?

According to my understanding, true fit is cotton if it is stretch, it should say so I believe that's

We are confused. How does the color black stone differ from blue stone? There is a photo of blue on the website. ?

Blue jeans are the ones I got.

The cuff is ripped and has nicks in the fabric. Is that normal? Thanks a lot! ?

The last pair of Levis I bought is now in my possession
3/5

For the last time in my 35-year relationship with Levis, I bought my last pair of jeans. Please find attached photos so that you can see what I see. I am deeply saddened by the state of the Levis brand. Both of these pair were manufactured in Pakistan Cotton made from thin yarn, measurements that are inconsistent, and stitching that is cheap are just some of I've laid one pair over the other in the pictures, and both are the same brand, color, and model. It's easy to see that the second pair under the first is a full size larger at the waist and at the There is also a vast difference in the stitching and color. Essentially, these are the same jeans that are made in the same place. Levis clearly doesn't care about its customers because they are sending back bad product time after time but receiving As a result, Levis is no longer considered a premium brand. If you desire quality jeans, you must definitely look elsewhere. As I have watched Levis' downfall over the last decade, I am convinced that this brand has no intention of turning the clock back and once again offering decent products to their customers.

It's an Oxymoron Now to call Levi's Jeans quality
3/5

Growing up and in college, I always wore Levi's. The quality of the service had been declining over the past few years. It was a little hesitating to buy new jeans, but my other pair of light wash Levi's ripped on the knee, so I really I purchased these pants and within two weeks of wearing them, the stitching on both pockets has already broken open and a few pieces of stitching have come loose on the legs as well. My older Levis are also thinner than what I have with these new ones which is a shame because I always liked that Levis would last for three or four years (I wear them almost every day), which is a good thing My last pair of Levi's is probably my last pair.

I hate to say it, but this was probably my last pair of Levis. Prices for cheaper jeans are no longer justified for the higher quality they offer.

There is no way of knowing what you will receive when you receive a 527, so I have stopped taking them
3/5

Almost 15 years ago, I discovered the 527, which is a great jean - I still think it is today There was always a consistent fit, and quality fabrics were used to make them. Since the company has gone from using very strong and durable denim to using very thin, cheap fabrics for jeans, and sizing has gotten very random, things have definitely changed. My previous order of a few different styles last year led me to return the thin fabric jeans, but keep the thicker ones (the overhaul type) which fit better and are made of higher quality materials. As this year's order of the exact same jeans did not arrive in the same fit/fabric as those I sent back last year, they were made of exactly the same kind of cheap, thin fabric as those I returned in the past. My only option, sadly, is to offer these 1) For the price you pay, you can surely find a better jean out there, 527's are simply no longer worth the money. 2) If you decide to order ANY 527 style, be prepared for a cheaply constructed jean that may fit smaller than expected unless you get lucky and pick a style that utilizes In the case of myself, after purchasing Levi jeans over 20 years in a row, I regretfully won't be a Levi's customer any longer. There is no reason for anyone to have to cross their fingers and hope that they receive a quality item, and after 3 years of experiencing inconsistent material and sizing, I'm done with Levi's and the 527 line.

There are few black jeans on the market that are true to their color
5/5

My biscuits are boiling at Levi's because of their naming problem! There must be a reason you can't just say "native Californians" instead of "black jeans". I won't even begin talking about how "Indigo Black" really is a blue shade. I can never be sure what color I will receive when I order online due to their stupid color terms. On top of that, Levi's has a sizing problem as well. It's a really helpful review that explains sizing is different depending on where the jeans are made, and the reviewer does a great job explaining the variations. In order to test the review theory, I ordered three separate pairs of 32" by 32" jeans. of the men are from one country, and the third comes They were both identical to my favorite pair of 527s from way back when and were both from the same country (Native Cali and Indigo Black). While the tag stated the size was 32" by 32", the one from another country (Medium Chipped) couldn't even go over my hips and was around 2 inches too small to button even though the tag said Do I have 2 inches taken off my waistline just by wearing this pair of jeans? Or does Levi's have a sizing issue that makes it necessary for you to read about a helpful review in order to figure out what your real size is? In the end, it is up to you which of these two reviews you read, but the short and sweet of it is to check out that review. Otherwise, you may find yourself with either a larger waist than expected Just as a side note, I was able to try all 3 of these without paying anything up front by way of Prime Wardrobe. It was really convenient that I was able to turn around and easily send back the Medium Chipped pair before I got Consider checking out Prime Wardrobe if you need to play with the sizes!.

It was guru 527
3/5

Make sure you are careful when ordering these if you are happy with your current 527s! Each color appears to have a different pattern and size. A few years ago, I stocked up on 31x32 527s because they fit so well, but now that they've developed holes, I went out to buy My size was the same as before, so I naturally ordered the same size. All of the colors I bought did not fit the same as the ones I bought Compared to the lighter colors, the dark colors were smaller in size, the lighter colors fit the same lower legs as before, but the waist became tighter and the back pocket area became I don't know why this happened, but if they bring back the old pattern, I will definitely buy more. I am now soured, and will no longer be purchasing Levi's t-shirts, sadly. This is a cheap, poor-quality brass rivet, which is not imprinted with the Levis logo. The problems with these are endless.
