Questions & Answers
505 Regular Fit Jeans were first designed as a zip-fly in 1967 and are Levi's most popular straight fit. The cotton in this product is 100% Spandex is not used in the fabric, so it does not stretch.
It depends on the color, the size, and the time when an item was manufactured to determine where it was made. Despite our current inventory being made in Mexico and Vietnam, we have 505's in inventory.
The zipper fly on the 505 is on the front. There is a button fly on the 501.
It is available in two thicknesses with Levi's 505. You will be familiar with and love the ones with the 12mm thickness, so be sure it specifically says 12mm somewhere in the description before buying. The thicker ones on Amazon have never been available to me.

The Levi's 505s that I buy from Amazon are absolutely awful. It is absurd how the size is inconsistent! The only way I could keep track was to create a spreadsheet, and I believe it depends on the countries of origin, as each country seems to use its own pattern when creating the 505s, even for colors and styles that are the same! You must hope that Amazon sends you jeans made in Pakistan, Mexico, and China if you want a nice, comfortable fit. Try to get your jeans made in Lesotho, Egypt, or Haiti if you're looking for a tighter fit. (With the exception of Black Solid, which will always be tight, regardless of the model) I found this conclusion after buying dozens of 505s from Amazon and returning those I didn't like. Not exactly scientific, but this is what I have Due to the fact that I cannot choose the country of origin on Amazon, and because Levi's sizes don't actually match, I'm only giving this whole purchase 1 star because it stinks.
Over the past few decades, I've purchased and worn 505s continuously and have been more than satisfied with them. There was something wrong with them from the moment I received them. There was something wrong with them. A pair that I put on made me feel like I was wearing light Khakis, whereas someone else said they were like pants. I don't wear LL Bean Khakis, I wear Khakis from Target instead. Having checked the labels with the labels from my previous purchase, these 505s were manufactured in the same factory as my previous order. As compared to previous 505 sets, the 505 pairs in this set would typically have 12 There are 14 ounces in this container. I would rate them as 6 or 7 denim There are 8 ounces in the box.
I am not the only one who has come to this conclusion after doing some research. Where the hell did Levi's get the idea to lower the waistband? After a bit more research, I was able to find out That Wangler still makes a lot of their jeans with 12-inch legs There are 14 ounces in this container. A denim shirt. I love them. I've bought some. Say goodbye to Levi's and hello to I've just updated. A pair of Levi's 505s I purchased directly from the company have exceeded my expectations. It seems the only conclusion I can draw is that the pairs I bought from Amazon were fake.
99 I urge you to revisit your redesign of the 505. I am one of the many people who have given 1 star to a product that was otherwise 5 stars, and I'm headed back to the store to return them. I like the fit and construction of these jeans, but they are not as comfortable as they used to be. Belt loops are also an oversight in this jean Is it true that the pockets are an inch and a half shorter? How can you be so crazy? It has always been the idea that jeans should be practical, so they need to have decent pockets for guys to carry their things. Specifically, I've always kept my phone in a front pocket since I do not want any cracked screens, and my regular (not plus) iPhone 6 barely fits in it My phone doesn't fit in a back pocket as phones are getting bigger, not smaller, and I am not all that unusual in not carrying it in my I wanted to let you know Levi's is My jeans have been the same brand for decades - I've never bought any other brand since the late 1960s. My mother bought them when I was growing up in Ireland, where they were hard to come by and pricey. Hopefully I will find one of your styles that is similar to the 505, but with appropriate pockets. In the event that I cannot, I may have to break down and buy another brand. And please let me know if you intend to return to the 505, and fix what is wrong.
The 505s I have been using for many years, so I felt pretty confident just clicking the button and ordering my favorite pair I was off. I made a mistake. It took me three pairs to complete my order. It was hard to match the cut, length, or size with my previous 505s at all, and, to make matters worse, there was no consistency in the sizing from one pair to another. The pictures demonstrate the fact that I took one of the pairs of jeans I ordered and laid it out alongside my regular, trusted 505s, as you can see. THE LARGE DIFFERENCE IN LENGTH IS SIX TO EIGHT INCHES! Those are insane numbers. It was important to me that my jeans fit properly, so I ordered this size. The Levis company seems to have decided to just add an extra six inches of denim to play around with. I cannot believe what a deal this is. I laid out the other two new pairs in comparison with the other pairs as you can see from the other pictures. I ordered two new pairs, and the two I received were only four inches shorter. Additionally, these snoods were TWO INCHES longer than my old pair of reliables. It is not advisable to order these jeans unless you really love returning things. In no way are they faithful to the original 505 fit, and they are not even consistently sized between each other. If you do get them, you will likely be disappointed (and confused) to discover that they are inconsistently sized,.
