Questions & Answers

Is it appropriate for a 56-year-old man to wear these jeans? I did, however, purchase two pairs of my favorite jeans. ?

I'm 72 years old and have been looking for a comfortable pair of jeans for a long time; I adore my Carhartts and will never buy anything else.

Will the length of these jeans shrink after they've been washed and dried?

If anything, there isn't much. They appear to have enough stretch that when washed, they do not shrink or lose their shape or size. After a long day at work, my husband appreciates that they don't become baggy and loose.

Is this a B18?

Sorry, but I'm not familiar with B18. They just happen to be a perfect fit for my husband.

Are these light enough to wear in the summer?

Question: Are these light enough to wear in the summer? br>Answer: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words In conclusion, No, but it depends on what you do and how much heat you can take. Although I have not worn them while working in the heat of summer, I imagine I would if my legs were in need of protection.

Selected User Reviews For Carhartt Men's Rugged Flex Relaxed Straight Leg Jean

Is it true that you don't lift at all, brother? I enjoy them, but I wish I could love them
4/5

I'm glad I went with the relaxed fit because these are on the verge of becoming nut-like. hugging- hipster- skinny- jeans. What saved me was that I bought a pair that was two inches bigger in the waist than I usually wear (just enough for an IWB CCW) and had some stretch. They're a little too tight in the quads, but they're fine on the twig and berries, and the waist is an inch too high. They're not loose-fitting, but they're comfortable, appear to be well-made, and have a sufficient number of belt loops (7 instead of the usual 5). Please take this review with a grain of salt because my body type is short and stocky, and I never skip leg day. Finally, I believe they will need to add about 5% more material around the quads, as well as lower the waist by about an inch, in order to call them a 22 Relaxed fit. This is just a first impression; I'll go over it again later. Check to see if they can withstand the test of time.

Five out of five stars
5/5

The fit is excellent. a pleasant experience The price is reasonable, and the style is respectable in its simplicity. br>br>These get five stars from me. The 5 stars aren't necessarily merited in and of themselves, but rather because of how difficult it has become to find a pair of comfortable, stylish, and reasonably priced men's jeans. Otherwise, I'd give them a 4 or even a 3 star rating. I initially listed only the benefits to save time and to acknowledge that, among the many men's jeans on the market, these are one of the few that aren't truly terrible in terms of style, comfort, or both, and that many charge a premium for the discomfort of your lower body or your eyes. So where does Car Hart go wrong, despite the fact that they are getting closer to both comfort and style (or rather, anyone who doesn't have a complete lack of style), closer than everyone except Lucky's wonderful consistency? Normally, I avoid writing reviews about competitors, but quality has become so difficult to come by in the last decade that I want to assist those looking for it. I also avoid using brand names so that no one thinks the review is a hoax or influenced by a competitor. While no one else has the certainty that I do, you will find that trusting me is a good bet. br>br>And now for the minus in an otherwise positive jean. Simple. Pockets that are ridiculously deep – Almost to the knees, in fact. If you need to carry a baseball bat in your pocket or if you are so afraid of banks that you carry all of your life's savings in some form in your pocket, these are the jeans for you. Only a few pairs of jeans can hold as much in their pockets as these do. If convenience is more important to you, the feel of your pocket change dangling near your knees, as well as the awkward deep plunge into your pocket, digging up to your elbows to access that change for the cashier at your favorite restaurant, will be a turnoff. Perhaps the goal is for a farmer to be able to transport a come-on. in their own way. Consider a farmer erecting a wire fence and pulling the wire taut between the posts for those who are unfamiliar with farming. To be sure, placing a comeback would require a very tall man. However, for the closeness that Car Hart comes to comfort otherwise, for not being gross or weird in styling, and for their very reasonable pricing, I have deep respect, and I bestow to them 5 stars, and I sense they truly do intentionally make the pockets deep for farmers to carry small tools inside of them, without having to resort to cargo pants that may present an opportunity, and I bestow to them 5 stars, and I sense they truly do intentionally make the pockets deep for farmers to carry small tools inside of them, without having to resort to I'm not a farmer; I'm just a small-town American boy (now an old man) who used to work the fields on the outskirts of town before the internet was even thought of. Deep pockets are typical of vintage jeans as well as jeans designed for manual labor. In comparison to the 14 oz (oz/sq-ft) jeans, these are a nice weight. yd) is a common unit of measurement for "worker" or "farmer" jeans.

My husband will only dress in jeans
5/5

In our family, we love anything Carhartt, so when my husband needed some work-appropriate jeans, I ordered a pair. I've since ordered three more, as they're the only ones he'll ever wear! They don't loosen or "fall off" as he bends and works throughout the day; instead, they're a good weight-bearing option. They're not too thick or hot for summer work, and they last a long time. These jeans make me very happy!.

Jeans are good, but the fit isn't really relaxed
3/5

Maybe it's unjust, but L. These jeans have a more relaxed fit than the Bean Standard Fit jeans. They stretch, giving the impression that they'll be even more relaxed, but when they're washed in warm water and dried, they shrink to a slim fit (almost skinny jeans). I think you'd be fine if you washed them cool and hung them to dry, but the fit for my fellow tree trunk leg friends is fairly standard, not relaxed. br>br>At this point, the jeans are fine; I just need to go up a size. They're not made of super-thick cotton, but of a cotton-polyester blend. The back pockets are padded twice as much as the front pockets, and the front pockets are DEEP. They hold up well over time, and I'd recommend them if you're slim and looking for a little more room, but if you're stocky, you'd be better off sizing up or opting for other Relaxed Fit jeans.

Excellent work (and everyday) jeans at a reasonable price
5/5

I won't feel bad (or worried) about wearing these jeans to work. br>br>I believe that most clothing manufacturers are trying to save money with their products these days. Recent Levis purchases have disappointed me in terms of both material and quality control (thin denim, inconsistent sizing, stitching failing after a few months, asymmetric sewing, and so on). br>br>I decided to try Carhartt's denim for the first time. I like their Rigby Rugged Flex work pants, so I expected these to be just as good, which they are. Quality: br>br>Quality: br>br>Quality: br>br>Quality There were no flaws or loose stitches that I could find. The jeans appear to be well-made. br>br>Size: br>br> I chose 36x30 because I'd heard they were a little small. It is a perfect fit. (Perhaps I am now a 36. ) ) They're not as baggy/spacious as regular Carhartt pants, but they're closer to my old Levi's 559 in terms of fit. Material: br>br>Material: br>br>Material: br>br>Mate Carhartt's denim is comfortable right out of the bag, with no need to break it in. in is necessary. It also doesn't appear to be frail or thin. The material has a little give to it, so they don't feel too confining when I move around. br>br>Overall, I like these a lot! When/if I wear these out, I'll definitely get more, including a pair for everyday use.
