I think the best material would have been a blend from nylon or polyester, not 100% of either. All in all, a good, sturdy product. The zips work well and it fits well.

This is a great His wife needed a light jacket without cotton or fleece lining, and he wanted to stay warm during the colder months Velcro at the cuff and hem of the sleeve complete this item A zip off hood and an inside pocket on the chest made this jacket a nice option for my son since he already owns many jackets in shades of dark colors

A jacket I have had nearly 20 years is being replaced with this one. Although I wish it had more pockets and was a little longer, I remember my old jacket having more pockets and was a little longer. With the washable fabric, it will make a wonderful jacket for spring, fall, and cool summer evenings.
