Got soaked in a torrential downpour in Greece and had to have this umbrella. These ponchos were in the possession of three of us. I was able to wear it over backpacks as well. The rest of the world was soaked while we were dry.

We noticed a hole in the back of this product when we opened Evidently, something went wrong during the production of the film. After I received the item, I wrote to the seller asking for a refund so that I could repurchase it. The poncho with the hole in it has never been reimbursed to me or I have never heard from the seller.

I was worried that it would be too small (I'm 6' and pushing three and a quarter) and too short for me. That was not the case. There is plenty of length and enough room for me. On the Colorado trail, I have used it and it was far superior to the jacket and ponchos of my hiking companions, who spent three times the amount on their ponchos. I am five-two, and this poncho covers me and my 65-liter pack, and it hits me just above my belly button I am kneeling. My son plays football in the Pacific Northwest, during which it often rains heavily. I have used this bag for attending football games and practices, and it has remained leak-proof throughout. A small bag comes with it that makes it easy to carry. It is lightweight and compact. The raincoat is huge, so I look like a yeti wearing it over my winter clothes, but I do not mind since I am warm and dry inside. Generally, I wear a baseball cap under the hood because otherwise, the hood is too big and falls I will even be able to cover a large camp chair with it to keep the chair dry, as well as keeping my backpack dry under the chair. If it's windy, snaps are located to create armholes to keep it from flying around too much, but it still might fly around a bit when the wind blows. Despite my high expectations, this poncho exceeded them all. During our time at WDW in Orlando, I bought a couple of these to be able to use them if we encountered sudden downpours. They are quite light and are quick to wear. The cover the upper body as well as the packs we were carrying. In contrast to vinyl or plastic ponchos, the material does not cause you to feel uncomfortably hot and sweaty underneath. A hot, humid, rainy August is perfectly suited to Orlando conditions during this time of the year. One time, I got really wet when a gust of wind blew rain sideways, opening my poncho and soaking me through. The fault lies with dumb luck as opposed to the product itself. One cannot wear full gore-like clothing unless they plan on spending a lot of money on them When you want a product to deploy quickly and remain dry in 90 percent plus humidity, this product is the optimal choice.

While I have used the product a few times around town, I have yet to go hiking with it. I am most concerned about the way the poncho whips around in the wind and so easily blows away (see There is no way that item could not catch on every stick and shrub, particularly since we hike through brush and tight trails all the time or this item would never last for more than a day. Still, it doubles as a pack cover, so I'll try it in the next month and let you know how it goes. While walking the streets of NYC with the poncho, what I liked is the same act as what I mentioned was the downside that the poncho was very loose around your body which allowed a lot of cooling when it was raining and the temperatures were In fact, I can just about roll this up and fit it into my back pocket if it stops raining, or at least inside my belt at the small of my back if it doesn't rain.
