Questions & Answers

How big is this thing?

The dimensions vary depending on the size you choose. I recommend using the size chart as a general guide.br>Tall sizes are for men over 6'2" and add 2" in body length and 1-inch in width. Sleeve length is 12 inches.

What is the length difference between the X-ray and the X-ray? The X-Men's Lg and the X-Men's Lg Lg tall?

I'm 6'6" and weigh 225 pounds, so the XL Tall is far too big for me. It's a tad too long, but only marginally so. I just don't think I'll be able to fit another person in there, so I'll probably exchange it for a Large Tall. I hope this was of some assistance.

I'm a 41-year-old woman with a 41-inch shoulder circum 42 inches in length I'm not sure what size to get. ?

I recommend taking your chest measurement and ordering from the size chart below:br> S M L XL 2XL 3XLbr>Chest 34-36 36 - 38 40 42 - 46- 44- 48 - 50 54- 52- 56

Is it true that these jackets run a little big?

My son, who is 6'4" and weighs 250 pounds, was the recipient of the order. the XLT. I wouldn't describe it as a roomy or larger-than-normal fit. He can get away with a short-sleeved t-shirt. It has a shirt underneath it. He likes it and has decided to keep it despite the fact that the sleeves could be a quarter inch longer. It appears to be of good quality.

This jacket is only partially cotton lined, as stated in the listing
3/5

I purchased this jacket because I needed a warm flannel-lined jacket to replace my current polyester-lined jacket. This jacket was listed as 100% cotton lined for both sleeves and body for both sleeves and body for both sleeves and body for both sleeves and body for both sle That was a lie, as evidenced by my photographs. br>br>Which is unfortunate because I enjoyed it otherwise. br>br>1 star for your deception.

Rugged, stylish, and well-fitting, but should you size down? There are a few caveats
4/5

If you're unsure whether you should go down a size, the short answer is: You should most likely do so; That is, if you only intend to wear this shirt jacket without any additional layers. If you plan to wear it with a bulkier hoodie or something similar underneath, or if you have a larger stomach, it's probably not the best choice. Please continue reading if you want to learn more details. br>br>I wanted a thicker shirt jacket to layer over a light to medium-weight shirt. For the coming winter months, a heavier hoodie is recommended. Depending on the brand and whether or not I plan to layer, I usually go for an XL or a L. I have an athletic build (larger shoulders and chest, smaller waist), so I usually need an XL hoodie when layering. However, because many people said this ran big, I went with a L. I'm glad I took the opportunity. br>br>The large is a good fit for my medium-sized body. I liked how the weight hoodie gave me just enough room to move around without feeling constrained. Without the hoodie, it was also a good fit, not too baggy. If I had ordered an XL, as I usually do, the jacket would have been a little too big for me, especially when worn without layers. When working in below-freezing temperatures, I prefer a slightly tighter fit because it keeps my body heat in better. However, my preference for a slightly tighter fit might not be appealing to you. I'm 5'11" to 6'1" tall and weigh 200 pounds. There are 53 in total. Shoulders are 5 inches wide, chest is 47 inches wide, and waist is 33 inches wide (shoulders, chest, and waist are measured in circumference). br>br>If you prefer a looser fit and/or have a larger midsection, I would recommend ordering your normal size - This shirt jacket has a more streamlined body than many other shirt jackets, so if you have a larger belly and went down a size, this shirt jacket will most likely be too tight for you. I am aware of the following: br>I bought another one for my stepfather after I purchased mine and wore it for a while. He has narrower shoulders than I do. as well as a substantial midsection He usually wears a L in jackets, but I went with a M because the shirt jacket runs a little big. It didn't seem to go with the rest of the room. The shoulders were fine for him, but the jacket wouldn't button over his larger stomach. I exchanged it for a large, which just barely fit over his wider midsection. br>br>There are side pockets on this shirt jacket, as well as one inside pocket near the chest area for a phone, wallet, or whatever else. One thing to note about the side pockets is that they are placed awkwardly. The side pockets were sewn right on the seams where the front and back parts of the shirt jacket are sewn together, so they're a little further back than standard side pockets - at least according to my personal experience. You'll need flexible shoulders if you're going to use them to warm your hands. br>br>As well as the pockets. Not the side pockets, but the inside pocket up by the chest: some people have complained that the Velcro is too strong, causing concern about tearing the inner liner when pulling open the pocket. Yes, it's tough, as is most new Velcro, but The Velcro will loosen up if you grab each part of the Velcro with your hands and close and open it several hundred times (this may sound like a lot of work, but it only took me a few minutes). and a great deal. The snap buttons are the thing that has disappointed me the most: br>br> They are extremely frail. Although the snap buttons are metal and appear to be sturdy, several of them would not stay snapped together. They'd pop open with very little effort, such as bending over. Fortunately, not all of them are as squeamish as they appear to be - There are only a few of them. As a result, the shirt jacket was only partially buttoned for the most part. br>br>Overall, this is a very nice-looking, sturdy, and warm shirt jacket that can be worn with a hoodie. It does a good job of keeping the wind out, and it also appears to shed some water. Because of the inner nylon-based material, it is also very easy to put on and take off. sleeves with a lining However, due to the flimsiness of some of the snap buttons and the extreme side placement of the side pockets, I am unable to give this product more than four stars. br>br>*Update
br>I've been wearing this shirt jacket for about 18 months, mostly in the Fall and Winter, and it's still going strong. Despite the fact that it has been subjected to a great deal of abuse over the years, it still looks good - There were no rips, scratches, or seams that came undone. But. Those darn snap buttons, as I previously stated, could be a lot more durable. When I was out doing something strenuous, such as cutting brush or shoveling a lot of snow, I would frequently look down and see the bottom half of my jacket unbuttoned. I'm not sure if I received a bad batch of buttons or if this is the case with all of these shirt jackets. It's a minor quibble, but having to constantly rebutton the jacket becomes grating after a long day at work. br>br>And then there's the question of how hot it gets in the winter. I am blown away. With the clothing combination I've shown in my photos (tee-shorts-shorts-shorts-shorts-shorts-shorts I've been good in all of them (shirt, long sleeve denim shirt, medium weight hoodie, and this jacket). 25 to - That is, as long as I stay active in temperatures of 30 degrees (not including the wind chill). My face and hands, on the other hand, were a different story. br>br>I'd like to be able to give this jacket a higher rating because the overall quality is excellent and it is also extremely warm. However, the snap buttons' poor performance prevents me from giving it a higher rating than I did before. **Second update*

br>**Second update**b It's still in fantastic condition. Despite the fact that I've put this shirt jacket through a lot of abuse (cutting, hauling, and piling firewood, cutting copious amounts of brush, and a variety of other outside jobs that required crawling in the dirt), the shell is still intact - There are no tears, rips, or unraveling seams. The inside is also in excellent condition. The metal snap buttons, unfortunately, have weakened even more. After cutting down some balsam trees on my property, I recently snapped a photo of myself. You can get a better idea of how the jacket looks when worn outside. The fact that the lower half of the jacket is unbuttoned is proof of what I've been saying about the snap buttons. It's a shame these buttons are so flimsy, because they detract from the jacket's overall quality and appeal.

3/5

This jacket was a gift for my husband's birthday. The photographs on this jacket are stunning and appear to be something he would wear - and the jacket shown in the advertisement is the exact jacket you will receive; however, the texture of the jacket's exterior is difficult to discern. We were expecting a soft suede-like cotton, but while it is soft, it is definitely more of a water repellent cotton that looks almost silky and shiny in person, almost like a faux leather. Although the jacket is well-made, the exterior is not at all what we expected. All of the buttons and stitches were perfect, and the jacket had a nice heft and a very nice looking cotton flannel lining that did not include the interior of the arms, according to my inspection. We can't comment on how well the product washes or holds up because we just got it, but the texture and appearance of the outside of the jacket pleasantly surprised us when we opened it. The tags match the material listed in the ad for the jacket (Shell - Polyester). Body Lining -63% Cotton and 37% Polyester - 100% Cotton with Lining on Sleeves - Nylon And, while I'm no expert on fabric, this jacket has a lustrous sheen to it as well as a soft, silky, water-resistant feel. We weren't expecting such a strong reaction. My husband gave the jacket a 3/5 rating, but I decided to give it a 4 star rating because I don't believe the listing is inaccurate or fraudulent, but the jacket does have a different appearance in person. Inside and out, I photographed the jacket from a variety of angles and close-ups (although the texture is still visible - However, if you've ever worn a water-resistant jacket, you'll know what I'm talking about. (If you've ever worn a repellent jacket, you'll understand what I'm talking about. ) We had to return it because it wasn't what we were expecting or looking for, but if you don't mind the texture, this jacket appears to be of good quality. I hope this review is useful to others who are considering purchasing this jacket!.

Returned. Based on the reviews I read, I was really looking forward to receiving this piece, but when I opened it, I was disappointed. br>br>It arrived in good condition, snapped and folded in a clear plastic bag. Two of the snaps on the shirt came apart in my hands as I unzipped it to try it on. As bits of the new shirt rolled in between the floorboards, I exclaimed, "Are you f****** kidding me?" Other snaps were misaligned, and stitching was missing, according to a closer look at the shirt. br>br>I'm returning this without even trying it on for a refund, and I recommend you look elsewhere for a quality, heavy outer shirt; I'll stick to my South American mountain range brand.

My son is 1 foot tall, so he can wear it over a sweater
5/5

I'm writing from the country of Italy. This was given to my son as a present. It's a little bigger. That was obvious to me. My son is 1 foot tall, so he can wear it over a sweater. 75 meters long by 88 kilograms in weight. This jacket makes it very happy. Excellent seller and highly recommended. br>I purchased an XL for myself. Please send a picture of myself. Quality is of poor quality

In a month, it all fell apart. This item was purchased on March 2nd, and I have worn it MAYBE 5 times since then. And it's already starting to fall apart. When you look at the image, it appears that no stitching was ever done in the first place. This jacket is far too costly to be worn for only a month.
