Yes. Without socks, they are comfortable and stylish.
They're as bare as regular crocs, but they can be taken off. My favorite way to make them more comfortable is to wear socks over them.
Yes, the insoles can be removed. They are a huge hit with my husband. We also purchased a second pair, this time in the color moca. I am extremely pleased.
I am a size 12 shoe wearer. These were purchased in a size 12 by me. They are extremely comfortable to wear.

I'm 62 years old and weigh 200 pounds. I'm 5 11' tall and weigh 200 pounds. Banana Republic and Macy's are two of my favorite stores, and I've worked in the apparel industry my entire life, so I'm familiar with shoe stores. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine myself owning or wearing a pair of Crocs shoes. All of that changed seven years ago when I received a pair of Santa Cruz sneakers as a gift. As a lifelong runner, I've always struggled with finding shoes that are comfortable enough due to a large bunion on my right foot that makes one foot wider than the other. The Cruse fit me perfectly from the moment I put it on. The key to this shoe is the insert and how supportive it is; I feel like I could walk all day without becoming exhausted. Now, as for how it looks, I think it looks great with jeans or shorts, and it's very cool. They can become odorous after a while (but never with sox), so I remove the insert and wash it separately before letting it air dry. What you'll notice is that they fade and fray gracefully (think of a pair of denims). You can trim them if they begin to fray excessively, but they will improve with age, just like your favorite pair of jeans. I'm on my sixth pair now, and I have them in a variety of colors. This shoe is timeless, comfortable (the larger the man, the more comfortable), fashionable, and a great deal at $40. Where else can you get a better shoe for the same price? Crocs, we appreciate you.
Extremely comfortable. These shoes are perfect for me. For the past four weeks, these have been all I've been wearing. 5 years. My feet hurt all the time, and I've tried everything from orthotic shoes to arch supports to inserts to gels. When I put these Santa Cruz shoes on, it feels like I'm walking on clouds; they're incredibly comfortable! The only drawback is that they only last about six months before they need to be replaced. In general, when my feet begin to hurt again, I know it's time to replace them. However, it is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I size up because they run a little small. In regular shoes, I'm a size 11/11. I'm good to go with 5 so 12s in the Santa Cruz. When I get a new pair, my old ones become my house slippers, which I wear to clean the house or work in the garden.
These Crocs and a pair of hemp Sanuks in a similar style were purchased at the same time. Both pairs of shoes have proven to be lightweight, cool, and well-made. My shoe sizes range from 11 to 12, and my feet are wide, so I ordered the Crocs in a size 12 and they fit perfectly; the length is adequate, and the width is generous. If you've ever worn regular Crocs, you know what to expect in terms of the footbed- Nubby plastic that can make your feet sweat and make them feel as if they're sliding around. I'm not a huge fan, but I like the nubby, spongy plastic feel. br>br>Though I've only had them for a few weeks, the Crocs have performed admirably. I'm guessing the soles will wear smooth over time, but I can't say for sure how the canvas will hold up. I simply haven't spent enough time with them. I wear these Crocs without socks, just like the Sanuks, so the canvas absorbs sweat from my feet, and they do start to smell like a pair of sweaty socks after a while. Airing them out after each wear helps, but they do need to be washed every now and then. I've only ever washed one of mine. I washed them in the sink by hand, using liquid laundry detergent. I let them air dry rather than drying them in the dryer. They did not shrink or fade after one wash, but I expect them to fade after several washes at the very least. br>br>These shoes make me happy. If you don't mind the plastic Croc footbeds, they're a nice piece of summer footwear.
I wear a size 11 wide or EE, and I decided whether it was wide enough for my feet based on the reviews and pictures. I put them on and had the following experience. The insoles are thick, soft, and comfortable, but they're also thick, so you can swap them out for more shoe space. The toe box is wide enough for my foot, the arch has some support but not enough for those who are heavier, and the outsole appears to be sturdy enough for most terrain. The canvas is stiff when you first get it, but it softens with use. The main issue I had with my feet and shoes was the instep, which is still too tight despite the elastic; if it doesn't loosen up, I'll cut the elastic with scissors. To break them in, I'm wearing heavy winter socks. Without socks, I intend to use them. If you have thin feet, these may be too big for you. It's worth noting that the Santa Cruz model is available in a variety of crocs. This model is the most comprehensive of the various variants. Also, there are no 1/2 sizes, so if you're a 10, you'll need to go up a size. If you're a number five, you'll get an eleven. Always go up a whole size when going from a 5 to a 12.
At first glance, it appears to be extremely odd. These have a lot of potential for me. At first glance, purchasing Crocs appears to be extremely odd. a pair of shoes I wouldn't normally wear. My old pair of slip-ons, on the other hand, were on their last legs, and I needed to find a replacement. I must admit, they don't look half bad without socks. The heel rubs my Achilles tendon excessively, resulting in a blister for the first few days. I'm hoping that clears up soon, and that as I wear them more, the fabric loosens up a little. It's also worth mentioning the inner sole of these. It isn't made of cloth. It's rubber that has been texturized. When you're wearing them, you'll notice that it takes some time to get used to. I like them all in general. I'm not sure if I'll buy another pair once these wear out, but I'm not disappointed with my purchase. The fit is perfect. I'm a men's size 11 and these are a perfect fit for me.
For the past three years, I've been wearing these as slippers around the house. The first pair has only recently developed a small wear spot in the canvas at each foot's toe, measuring less than 4mm in diameter. They're easy to put on and keep on your feet. I keep them near the back door, and once I remove my work boots, they stay on the entire time I'm inside. Although the soles are still in good condition, I recently purchased a second pair while they were still in stock. A 9 is my usual size. 5; however, these are a size 10 and fit exactly like my usual 9. As a result, I'd say they're a half-size too small.
This is the third time I've purchased a pair of these shoes. (I can't believe I put off getting the black color for so long. ) They are extremely comfortable and well-fitting. My feet don't sweat (they breathe) because they don't have a sweat gland inside of them. And, while I don't usually go sockless when I wear shoes, with these shoes, it's the only way to go. And I'm completely oblivious to the fact that I'm missing my socks. These shoes are one of my favorites, and I'm sure you will as well.
