Questions & Answers

Is the insole removable on these?

Yes, and I adore these boots; I work in the oil and gas industry, and these boots are fantastic; my feet never get cold, they don't sweat, they stay dry, they're light, and they don't tire or sore my feet. I've owned two pairs and they've lasted me a long time. The oil field is hard on boots, but these have held up well.

Do these Titan boots' soles crack in less than a year? That's something the Magnus has done for me. Is it possible that they are superior to the Pro Magnus Boot?

I'd say it depends on how you use them, but I've always gotten 18 months to a year out of them. Each pair has a two-year lifespan. That's 10,000 steps per day, five days a week, on a concrete floor, which includes a fair amount of hammering, scuffing the toe, and other miscellaneous activities. I'm on my fifth or sixth pair, and they all crack at the arch of the sole after a certain amount of mileage. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

Will these boots be able to pass through a metal detector?

I don't think the safety toe is metallic, but I'm not sure about the rest of the boot.

Is this a toe boot with a steel toe?

It is, without a doubt, a safety toe. Magnet does not attract it, so it could be a composite.

Extremely long lasting! After two years of use, these boots are still in excellent condition
5/5

I'm finally ready to write a review after a year and a half. While they haven't been used in the most extreme conditions (oil fields, construction, etc. ), they have been used extensively in light construction, landscaping, and urban hiking (dog walking) in rain, snow, and mud. br>br>These boots are extremely durable when compared to other boots I've recently owned. Even after a lot of walking on concrete, asphalt, and gravel, the soles haven't worn out too much. Solid enough to last a long time, but soft enough to grip and feel at ease. br>br>From what I recall, the fit was excellent right out of the box. Because of my narrow heel, I have to make minor adjustments to the lacing, socks, and other aspects of EVERY boot. The toe feature appears to add to this stability by securing the boot at the ball of my foot, reducing front-to-back slippage. Aside from my peculiar heels, the overall fit is excellent, with plenty of room in the toe box and a secure grip around the arch and ankle. br>br>At this time, there is no visible deterioration in the uppers; overall stitching, eyelets, hooks, leather, and sole bonding are as good as new. TIMBERLINE: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION. The upper hooks could be a little bigger because they barely cover the laces. If tension is not applied at the perfect angle when tying, the lace will pop out of the hook. It's a secure fit once they've been properly tied. Overall, I would recommend these boots because of their durability, fit, and value, and I would buy another pair. Now that they don't need to be replaced (and I don't need this type of boot), I'll keep using them for a variety of purposes because they're so versatile.

These are the only boots I'll ever buy
5/5

even if the last pair is still in good condition! This is my second pair of these boots, and I love how comfortable and well-protected they are throughout the day. Because I work for an electric utility, my boots must be EH (Electrical Hazard) rated, have toe protection, and meet ANSI standards, which these boots do. Very comfortable, attractive, with tough soles and uppers, strong laces, and a tongue that stays in place. place, good traction on wet surfaces such as snow, rain, mud, etc. don't appear to have any odors or other unpleasantness What else is there to ask for? What's the significance of this being my second pair of shoes? So my first pair, which are a year old, aren not worn out or even close to that, but these were on sale for 25% off, making them roughly $86 and I just coul As a result, I'm putting them aside for a later date. By the way, if you want your boots to be completely waterproof, apply mink oil to them every quarter or as needed. It will darken the color of the leather, but for dry feet, it's a small price to pay!.

Boots of excellent quality
4/5

I haven't had a reason to look at other brands since purchasing my first pair of Timberland Pro 50506 boots several years ago. They stand up to the rigors of a heavy-duty truck repair shop. They last about two years, which is excellent for the environment in which I use them. They are extremely comfortable right out of the box and require minimal break-in time. In the winter, they keep my feet warm, and in the summer, they keep them cool. I had to replace my old pair because I had worn a hole in the end of the toe box due to having to kneel on cement on occasion. The boot tread is very durable. The tread on my shoes has never worn out. My company provides boots for us, but they aren't of the same high quality as these, so I decided to purchase my own. I'd give them 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that the last two pairs I've received haven't been as comfortable right out of the box as they used to be. Something had to be different at Timberland Pro. But, for work, these are still my go-to boots.

I was let down
4/5

I'm not sure what happened to these boots since I last purchased them, but the interior support is now a55. To fix it, I had to purchase arch inserts. Timberland used to be my go-to for quality boot interiors - This is not a'mary's quality product. br>br>Craftsman offers better support and is currently 12 percent less expensive. I've worn a variety of brands, but my favorites are: The Carolina Panthers and the Red Wings are two of the best teams in the league. br>br>I'm glad I didn't pay more because they usually cost 120 dollars. 00, but I paid more in reality because I paid for a brand name that used to mean quality but no longer does.

This is the best work boot for all-around use
5/5

For the past two decades, I've been wearing Titans. These are the shoes I wear on a daily basis at a shipyard where I work as an engineer. At this price point, they are the most comfortable safety shoes available. I usually get a year to two years of use out of them before I have to replace them due to wear and tear or sole cracks. I wear them exclusively at work from 10 a. m. to 10 p. m. because they're so comfortable. During the work week, I have them on their feet for 12 hours, so they're on their feet a lot more than they aren't. I definitely received a good value for my money. I go from an office to the waterfront so they get mixed use as opposed to 100% industrial use as opposed to 100% industrial use as opposed to 100% industrial use as opposed to%.

Cushioned arch supports are not made equal in Timberland Pro work boots
3/5

In the Arch support cushioned sole of Timberlain Pro model work boots, something has changed. The pain in the soles of my feet was excruciating. I work 12 hour days as an electrician in construction and my feet became numb due to the supposed cushion sole being substandard. br>The manufacturer changed something because I had been wearing the same model Timberland Pro work boot for the last eight years and it was disappointing that the comfort and fit were no longer there. I exchanged them for another pair with the same issue. I even bought a Timberland Pro work boot in my usual size 9 for a little more money. The 5 D width was too narrow, and the cushioned sole was also too narrow. I'm also returning it and returning to the Red Wings of old.

BUT, it's cozy
3/5

Straight out of the box, the boots were very comfortable. I've been wearing Timberland Pro Series shoes for over ten years. I'm employed in a heavy-industry setting. After about a week of use, the inside of the boot began to irritate my heel. When I looked inside the boot, I noticed the cover had completely disappeared over the area where your heel meets the back. There is no more padding. I'm going to Amazon to return these. com, and I'm planning to buy another pair of Timberland Pro Series boots. Not this pair, at least. Timberland provides a one-year warranty against defective materials and workmanship, which is a welcome addition.
