The boots are over two years old now, so maybe I'll write a review now that I've had them for that long, 5-stars There is someone to help you every day. It has been one year since I received them and I wear them every day since then. I'm an upholstery and trim tech in North Florida. Some others have already said they have weight to them, and I appreciate that. My first impression of this shoe was that it was sturdy, and it still proves to be so after all these months. I replaced the sole as well as the laces within the last couple of months, and it has helped the wear greatly since the shoes were starting to degrade. The look and feel of worn leather doesn't fail to satisfy me, neither does the look of these. Still, they look handsome, despite their wear and tear. It is probably once or twice a month that I condition them. I don't know if they could use more, but they probably could. My hands are all over the place as I walk in and out of cars, ascend and descend ladders, step through caustic adhesive, spray glue everywhere, and shoot hydraulic fluid everywhere, and they don't seem to be hurt. Actually, I also make them work from home and do yard work and really any other work that gets a little dirty. I'd probably choose these as my one and only pair of footwear if forced to choose. These are tough and comfortable and provide the kind of comfort and support you need to get the job done. I cannot recommend them enough for anyone looking for Almost any work you can think of. You have work to do, housework to do, yard work to do. I would buy from them.
This update was made on 5/26/21. They are finally retiring after working an average of 50 hours a week for the past 5 years. Thank you so much for this purchase, it's worth every single penny I paid. plan to order a second pair of these in the next couple of days, and I hope to have them for the next five My boots are still working, still performing great, usually 50/60 hours a week, and I've changed the insoles a pair of times and the laces once, but other than that, they are as good as new. You do the math more than three years, at least 50 hours of hard work per week. This is a 23 month old update.
Update 06/06/18.
23 months and still rolling. In the past month I have put 50 hours a week into these and the only thing that has changed since I first reviewed them is that I changed the insoles.
First It has been over a year since I first purchased these boots, I have about 50 hours a week in them. In great condition, even the insoles continue to feel comfortable, and other than a couple of issues regarding the laces about three months ago, they have never let me down. They have a long way to go before I would consider buying them again. Even though it does not look like it will happen anytime soon, I would still buy them again. Investing in working boots has proved to be the best investment. Standing all day long without foot pain is now a thing of the past.
I am very comfortable wearing these when I am working in my shop, even though they are a size large. Plantar fasciitis has been an injury I have experienced in the past and I have to be careful about This is the first time I have worn these for 3 weeks in the shop, and I have found they are comfortable and supportive. These would be recommended to anyone who works with concrete.
Having this as my default is now my solid, regular, go-to I need a new boot to work. What's the reason? Considering my age and the fact that I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and two nagging Achilles tendons, I'm not as young as you are. When I work on the farm (yep, confirmed with a Fit Bit), I walk nearly 7 miles a day through all weather conditions, and these boots have been a hit right out of the box. It only took me a week to get used to them. The order can easily be placed on Amazon and I will receive everything I expected in terms of quantity. Cost is comparable to what you might pay at the Therefore, there is no reason for a 5 star rating. It doesn't last me more than 3 months and I use a lot of laces. The second obstacle is that I find it hard to fit them in a year. It takes about 9 hours for these boots to perform reliably for me It has been 10 months since. Since I am fair here, let me state that I have difficulty getting a year of use My neck of the woods saw over 40 inches of rain ( that's a lot of muck and slop to wade through). I prefer the Georgia boots, but they're not as comfortable out of the box, and you can only wear them for about a month (typically about a year's worth of wear). The foot's comfort has taken the place of a couple extra weeks of wearing. Fortunately, I just ordered an extra pair of laces at the time I ordered my boots and I'm back at You know, it seems like no one makes a boot under $200 that lasts much any longer, no one. It's a lot warmer up there in the air conditioned cab unless you're a heavy equipment diva.
I have owned this particular boot for several years now and this is my fourth pair. I purchased my first pair of shoes online. My last pair lasted me well over three years and I would would still be wearing them were it not for the worn insoles and two holes that developed in the left side of the left boot from driving to and from work every day. Even with a lot of wear left in the outer sole, they are still in good condition. The only thing that made things better for me was when one of the lace hooks broke. In my current job, I work in a sheet metal shop, and while I do not spend my entire day on my feet, I do walk on concrete a lot. It's not unusual for me to wear my boots for nearly fifteen hours on some days. As comfortable as when I put them on as they are when I put them on at the beginning. My recommendation for these boots is to buy them via Amazon, which I found to be very convenient. Price wise, it was about the same as what I paid at the store where I purchased the other pairs, but it was nice to have them ready when I arrived As mentioned, the size was a bit of a challenge at first, as my existing pair is an An online version of this product was available in size It was noted on the tongue of the boots, though, that they were stamped 11 EW. There is nothing to worry about.
I've owned both the steel toe and soft toe versions of this boot in the past. The first time was great, but with any steel toe boot, I've noticed the toe wore out faster than the rest. On the second occasion, it was cutting into my toe and cutting the inner lining, so I had to exchange them for a.
