Questions & Answers

Do they stay dry in the rain?

There is no proof that they are It can be fixed by smearing mink oil on the problem

What are the running widths of these boots?

In addition to the extra wide version offered to me at that time, I had other options as well. It's hard for me to find wide shoes for walking, but I've found the Dingo boots to fit just fine. I ordered them half a size larger than I usually wear for shoes, and a pair of crew socks over sheers made the boots quite comfortable. It is hard to tell whether the standard version is narrow or wide because I chose the wide one.

Not comfortable at all Despite being stiff and unlined, they're a lot of work to wear. A pair I used to treasure decades ago were made in China and not at all like my return pair. We see things change over time. Thank you for your help.

Not Happy Now, but Happy When I Started
5/5

The review I read and the 11D I chose were true to size for me, and I am very glad I chose them. Although they are difficult to wear with thick weight socks, they can be done if you need an extra layer of To wear them in the winter to ride motorcycles, consider going half a size up so that you can easily put on more layers or thicker wool socks. As it relates to the sizes of the heals Talk is made of being big, but I suppose it also depends on your feet and how they are shaped. I find that it fits me perfectly, according to the size 11D measurement I have. I have updated My overall impression of the quality after six months is that it is only good, medium weight leather, and not as thick as I expected it to be. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this boot, because it fits well true to size, but the insole and insert are more difficult to keep in place. I wear this boot twice a week, on average. There are some problems with the insole, as it is glued down but bunches up, causing discomfort as well as the glue keeps you from adjusting it. Added to that, a rivet head is missing.

These boots proved to be a great purchase
5/5

The fact that I have gotten so many compliments on these boots seems strange to me. Did you know that people look at the shoes you wear? They look very cool at first sight when you first get them. It was kind of dusty and dry. Unless you are an actor who will wear these once during an interview on the Tonight Show, you'll probably have to do some work to get them to work. Here is a picture of the boot as it is, and as it is after you have applied mink oil, which, of course, you must do (unless you are the It is crucial to soften the leather, and to waterproof the boot, with mink oil. As you can see in the photo, I bought what I liked, but there shouldn't be a lot of difference between the two. They can then be worn after they have sat overnight oiled up. It looks like there is a lot of controversy in the comments here. The boots are tight if you buy your size and they are not very spacious. The same can be said about boots. A lot of them, especially the The first few times in which you wear them, you will notice that they are a bit tight but they will loosen up with use. The boots might not hurt too bad, but they will probably be a little sore. You big baby, you just have to get over it. In about a week, they will feel like they belong to you, and after a little time, they will get to know your family and friends. This is NOT a pair of running shoes with high-tech support. I believe this insert is just whatever makes sense for them to purchase at the lowest possible price. In any case, I always insert my own inserts, and I am quite certain that you'll want to do the same. Generally, I swear by Superfeet insoles, but you can choose what works best for you and your In addition, these are the things that prevent your heel from swimming around in the back of the boot as well. My overall opinion is that these boots are great. Their main look is quite nice. They're kind of in-keeping with each other. In the photo, there is a gap between the two boots. After applying mink oil a few months later, they will return to their darker appearance, and so the cycle will begin There's no warranty on it, and looks like it needs These are the type of boots you will not be disappointed in if this is what you like.

The work ranch I've been working on for over a year now has used these almost daily
3/5

I have been wearing them almost every day for over a year now, to romp in mud, dust, brambles, thistle, bamboo, black berries, and mostly anything else I can find around my house. This is crap. Despite being functional and still in like new condition, they do not look as attractive as they once did. These kickers really stand out, depending on how you look at them. For years I wore a pair of size 12 Frye Billy Boots daily as my In my experience, I used to have the leather sole and they always lasted about 9 months before they became too ruined to wear. Mind you, that is strictly for city slickers. Frye boots are extremely comfortable for my particular foot shape but they do not last in the wild. I returned to my family's ranch over a year ago and they were not durable for what we do out there. required these boots to be significantly less expensive than the high-end footwear I have been used to wearing for so long. The boots I decided to buy were not going to last three months on me, so I did not want to spend more than 300 on them. It was important that the boots I needed had a more dependable sole than leather, but were mainly made from leather elsewhere. The shape of my feet is not that of a duck's, so I didn't want to wear some stupid looking square toe shoes. Because why not incorporate a harness on them too? I figured the boots should also include one. * * * After searching on Amazon for a while to find good cowboy boots, I found these Dingo harness boots on sale for under a dollar. Their look and features met my needs and I like Dingos so I picked them up in size 12. As great as these boots are, I wasn't expecting them to be. It didn't occur to me that they could be constructed half as well as they are, or that they would be made with such high-quality materials. The fact that these boots are as durable as they are was not expected of me. Every punctured item I've come into contact with has been stopped before it reaches It has been reported that they have deflected misguided machete or axe ricochets on more than one occasion. are battling fires and swimming through creeks, but they only show up with a voice that screams, "Pshhht what else do you got?"? Only complaint I have about them is they have a tad wide shaft circumstance which I do not like. Denim that is bootcut fits fine over them, but anything that is on the skinny side or slim will look pretty damn atrocious. In my book, these boots are now considered to be tools. In terms of my tools, I use them to the max. Despite my high expectations, these boots have far exceeded my expectations in all manners and shapes.
