A good idea. Since son has possessed them for quite a while, he has enjoyed them a lot
It is necessary to go 2 sizes down from ladies boot sizes to acquire the right size. The size for women is the same as for men, so if you buy a Men's size 8, it would be a Ladies size 10.

Three pairs of Durango Rebels have been purchased by me in recent weeks - probably having a problem, they may not fit as well as the others. Although all boots take some time to break in, I have found that this pair has come along much easier than any other boot I have owned. The other day I wore them all day photographing three roller derby games after conditioning them with Bick Distress and wearing them around the house for a few hours. Walking and standing a lot was going to require this pair of Durango Rebels to be more comfortable than a pair of It is all good news and I am glad I bought the boots because I received compliments about.
Currently, I am rating these boots as a 4. 5 out of 5 because I do not know if they will last. Durango will sell the exact same style for more on its actual site. (This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the amount of the difference seems strange. ) It's more than twice the price on Additionally, they seem very light considering that they are leather. There has been an improvement in the quality of the rebel footwear since I have the same style in a different color. The combined weight of both of these is more than either of those individually. In any case, Durango rebel shoes' leather is already pretty It will be nice if these last as long as the first pair did. Hopefully, we will find out soon.
The boots are extremely comfortable, especially if you're walking all day on concrete. These shoes are very lightweight and have a durable sole. There is only one issue I can find, and that is that the mesh liner rips on every pair of these boots, just above the heal, so when you want to take off the boot, it traps your foot to the degree that a shoehorn is needed to pull it off. You will get blisters if you do not use a shoe horn when you put on the boot. It will roll up behind the heal and be uncomfortable. You then have to get rid of a boot that is otherwise in good condition. During the rest of the boot's lifetime it will last more than a year, but the liner will only last about six through 6 pairs of shoes so far, and they all behave the same way. In my opinion, if Durango were to offer this boot without the mesh liner, it would be perfect.
The only reason I haven't worn mine is that I always get a pair of Dr. Scholls work boot insoles to trim them to fit and mink oil them twice to make them soft and waterproof so they don't hurt my feet when I first start wearing them. As a quick tip, if you want to break them in fast, walk knee deep in a creek for a hundred yards. Pull out of the water, dump it, and then walk in them until they are I have always done this because my Grandpa taught me to when I was little, and I do it now if I don't have time to oil them before I use.
It has been a few days since I have worn these boots and I have to say they are Those shoes are more likely to run on the larger side, as other reviewers have noted. The boots are just perfect for me. I went down about 1/2 size and they are perfect for me.
With the majority of boots I get pain in the instep/vamp. The boots in this collection actually fit me perfectly in this regard since I wear arch supports and dislike high heels. Additionally, these have a minimal heel height, which I find to be ideal they don't have much, nor are they too high. Neither heel rise nor toe rise. This is my first pair of Durangos, and I think they won't be my last if they hold up as well as they have.
I would recommend it. Getting these Durango boots in the mail has been my first order ever. As of now, everything appears to be going smoothly. My first impression was that it was narrower than I expected, but it still felt After they have had a chance to break in, I should feel considerably better. I would say that as compared to my Ariats, these Rebels either run small or the Ariats run large, because I ordered a full size larger and they're the same size as my Ariat Ramblers but so far they aren't.
In my case, the boots run a little small. I normally wear size 12 in boots, but with thick socks I had to wear 13. There is no other pair of boots that I have ever worn that are as comfortable as these. In my construction job, I walk miles on concrete and rebar every day. My favorite is Durango, I have done Red Wings, Ariat, and Justin work boots, but these are my all-time favorites.
Now I own each pair of boots I own. The boot I work in, the boot I ride in, the boot I use for ranch work.
