However, while the fit is excellent and the shoes are attractive, Both shoes' outsoles have begun to pull away from the toe box after only two months of wear. While I expected this to happen at some point, perhaps after six months, I didn't expect it to happen so quickly.
These are a hit with both my son and me! They are exactly as expected. On his wide feet, they're extremely comfortable. The sizing is accurate, but I would have ordered a half size larger if it had been available at the time I bought these - Because children's feet grow so quickly, these have proven to be durable, comfortable, and easy to clean. As his go-to, I'll most likely reorder more of these. Because they are so good, he will switch to athletic shoes as his feet grow.
Szing is a bit on the big side. These are a more minimalist design, which means the sole is a little thin. They were a little large, so I had to exchange for a smaller size. These are my favorite sneakers for kicking around or wearing on a regular basis. They aren't suitable for hiking or other strenuous activities.
For the past eight years, I've been wearing Merrell barefoot shoes, which I've replaced with newer models on a regular basis. I purchased several pairs for my nephews, and they fit and look fantastic. They are well-liked by the children, who claim to be at ease in them. We take them with us on long hikes and creek crossings. Also for lake swimming where there are rocks, and so on. The manufacturer has great deals with up to 20 off but they never have anything in stock. I don't mind ordering from Amazon, and their shipping is quick, so it's not a bad deal for me.
They're being used for log rolling, and they're doing a great job.
My 5 year old son, who is extremely active, claims that they are the most comfortable shoes he has ever worn!.
I really like the design. I really like how it turned out. The shoe is absolutely stunning. Simply put, the toe box is far too narrow.
