As a mail carrier for years, I used the Terrex Swift R boots for walking 9 miles a day, and they have lasted better than any other boot I have ever used. The chair is comfortable right out of the box, so no break-in period is necessary. In the meantime, they had stopped making them. I tried ordering more, but nothing was available. They did, of course. In my search for an upgraded or new version of the Terrex Swift R GTX, I found a few options. I decided to play the odds and bought the boots and the shoe versions. I knew as soon as I took them out of the box that Almost as thick as concrete, the soles are narrow as a spit, and the sole advertised as "continental" is a prank. The distance between the left and right are not equal. A foot that sits crooked because it has been forced into position. Role your ankle if you want to? These are a great bargain! By standing up straight you've already come half way there. The surface is unlevel and the texture is hard as bricks. When I placed it on my foot, I was amazed. The sides of my feet felt as if they were clamped by a wooden clamp. I tried to walk, but my heel slipped into It's just a matter of time before that area begins to heat up. The toe box is shaped like a foot. The room is adequate, the length fits normal, and there are no rubbing problems

It was a disappointment that the size of the dress was incorrect (way too small and narrow) so they wouldn't exchange it and honor their price, so I had to return it and order another larger size at a much higher price. It is snug but manageable once broken To get the right size, I had to go up two sizes. Even though I wear the same size with Adidas and other brands, I do not wear this specific shoe.
I do a lot of walking at work so I needed a good pair of boots. It is my favorite brand because I own so many Adidas I could see these as no-brainers I am quite disappointed with how the fit is. These run TIGHT on me, and I'm a size 13! My current pair is so tight that if I got another pair, I'd have to go up a full size. I'll give them another week or so to break in and stretch out, but I'm not sure how long it will take. On the other hand, the grip and step feel on them are incredible. The small size and light weight continue to make this a very good product.
I was cured of my plantar fasciitis after wearing these shoes. Since I am overweight, I could not wear soft altra shoes, so I bought these secondhand in a store called Next Adventure store in Oregon, where I'd worn men's size 11 shoes before. They fit when I don't wear men's size 11 shoes anymore. In addition to having very long toes, my feet are wide. grew and I had to buy these boots in men's size 14 due to outgrowing my hiking boots before my time with them was up. It is not obvious from looking at my feet that I should wear a men's 14, but I don't feel comfortable wearing a women's size 14. I have a wide forefoot and a large instep, so this shoe works My feet are also more comfortable in nikes and addidas because the shoe styles keep my heels from bleeding, whereas other shoe styles like altras cut my heels. It was the perfect shoe for me as I walked for an extended time period. The Terrex shoes will never leave me because I know they are such a huge part of me. Despite my having two other new Addidas Terrex shoes, I cannot bear to part with them. I have 250 lbs and they are as stiff as concrete. This is essential for me, as I get plantar fasciitis if I don't. Upon purchasing my first pair of these, I bought SOLE leather and cork insoles I think they were size mens 11 and put them over the factory insoles. Unless they were stiff, they would fall apart and be impossible to wear. Having been using them since mid-December, it is time to retire them due to the fact that it is so close to the end of April. It's no problem for me to walk four to six miles a day in them. These hiking boots are great for people who need sturdy, high-quality shoes to hike in. I hope the company leaves them exactly as they are, a wonderful product to use.

Get a whole size larger than you usually do to avoid disappointment in the long run. The fit is extremely narrow.
The only shoes I normally buy are Timberland shoes since they are so comfortable and I have always worn them regularly. As I searched for a black pair that I liked, I didn't find one. The Terrex items have been saved for quite some time after reading reviews and performing research. It is good that people told me to go up a size. With an 11 I got a B. We got a perfect score by giving a 5 instead of an 11. Thus far, these boots have been an excellent choice, the heel is perfectly cupped by the shoe and so far the boots have been comfortable. It is recommended that these boots be worn on a daily basis.
As it was said they run small, I bought a size up. My husband still couldn't fit into them, but he liked them very much. That's a very nice pair of boots! However, they do fit tight since he's a size I bought a 10 so I'd be safe, and the boots did snug up, but not to the point of being He tells me that. The overall picture is somewhat different. This is a quality product.
