Questions & Answers

Is there room for wider feet in these? As an undergraduate student, I am in the 12th grade. For a while, I had the Adipops, but they always felt too narrow to me. ?

The space in these will probably be more than you anticipated. The Nordic is slightly wider and less rigid than the Adipower. Their foam soles are softer and they don't feel quite as tight on the feet as the Adipower. they are more comfortable right out of the box. As a gym bag, I keep both with me however, Adipower is my preferred brand for Olympic

The heel and forefoot are different heights. How much difference is there in height between the heel and ?

Thanks for your inquiry. I'll be in touch shortly. Below are the details about the height of the shoes from heel to toe It is 1.25 inches from the ground to the top of the heel. The measurement on the toes is 4" the measurement on the fingers is It is 47" for you. I hope that Whenever you need to reach out to us, please don't hesitate to contact us again. We're here to help I appreciate your time and attention to our Nordic Lifting website, Manilyn

How well do you think these shoes will work for calf raises? Does only the squat and deadlift require them?

This shoe can definitely be used for calf raises. It's great to have them When you're at the gym, you should wear shoes around your feet. Although the soles of these sports shoes have less "give" than a regular pair, you shouldn't feel restricted in doing calf raises with them (at least to me). In his book Henrik / Nordic Lifting,

Is it possible to use this shoe for indoor exercise bikes?

Platform heels are the main feature of these shoes. It is very flat on the sole. It has nothing in its design that would prevent you from using an indoor exercise bike. *br>I wear mine every time I warm up on the bike before squats, I prefer it to pedal in

An excellent lifting foundation starts with solid shoes
5/5

My favorite thing about the shoe is how well it It feels as if they are already broken in even though they haven't been A noticeable amount of support is provided by these, as well as fine construction and a stylish design. They've garnered a lot of compliments from others. The Valcro strap is helpful in making them extra tight if you want them to be close to your skin. My overall reaction to the shoes is that they're a really good lifting shoe. I would recommend getting them if you're looking for reliable lifting shoes. **2 months of use edit **2 months of use edit Here is an update on these shoes after about 2 months of lifting in them. Therefore, I keep it at a constant temperature of 100°+ every day, and the temperature never dips below 95° at night either. A part of the sole has begun to come loose due to the glue holding it in place. A sole remains attached to the foot. My experience with Nordic Lifting's customer service has been amazing so far. They provided pictures of the shoes and where the problems were located after I contacted them. The pictures were sent and again, I promptly received a response, and a replacement pair of glasses is on its way to me. I will say it again, the shoes seem to work well and are still usable, and they are sending me You can tell they care about the quality of their gear and the needs of their customers. So despite the minor issue with the sole of the shoes, I'll still rate it a 5 out of 5 because their customer service is outstanding and I've been helped through every step!.

The product is excellent, and the customer service is great
4/5

I've been lifting in these for almost three months now. This is why I waited to write a review, as I purchased them at a steep discount and was initially concerned I'd get a cheap shoe that did not last long. The fact is, this hasn't been the case, and aside from a concern below, most seem to look like they just came Prior to that, the lifter was barefoot or wearing Chuck Taylor's. It is my preference primarily to wear these for squats and for leg day in general, though I m also occasionally able to use them for overhead press and other lifts that require more stability. My knees were hurting, which I had attributed to a tendency to roll to the outside of my feet during heavy squats, so I bought these to relieve the symptoms. It has been a great help in keeping my foot in place and preventing this roll, and I can confidently state that I do feel substantially more stable during squats. It is my first pair, so I cannot view them in comparison to other lifting shoes however, I can confirm that they have a solid foundation, are extremely comfortable, and have held up well over time.

For the most part, product quality is good, but one notable exception stands out. It has frayed and appeared to be biting near the edges. The metatarsal strap is fairly cheap feeling compared to the rest of the shoe. It appears that the first pair I received had busted stitching when I wore them the first time, which was due to the fact that there was a single row of stitching connecting the male and female hook and loop sides, and this resting Although there is an obvious weak point in the shoes, aside from it, they are Nordic lifting contacted me directly to address this issue, and without making me jump through hoops, sent replacement shoes to me, and also adjusted the size for me as I felt going a half size down would offer me the best results. As a result of their excellent customer service, I will be going to them first for any future equipment before searching for I bought the Nordic lifting products because of the company that made them. The product itself is excellent, but I want to see what Nordic lifting products are produced in the future.

A solid and comfortable shoe that is also a good choice for wider feet
5/5

I tried to wear the black Adidas Adipowers on and off for about 6 years as I had the Adidas Adipowers orange on and off. Even though the shoes do look nice, I never felt comfortable wearing them because the toe box and overall fit were too narrow for my feet. There are many reviews of these shoes that recommend them for people with It was a chance for me to order a size 12 in the US sizes, because I am a 12EE in American sizes, which is a size wider than normal. So is it fair to compare an 80 dollar shoe to a 200 dollar I am going to do it anyway, even though my chances of success are slim. According to the chart, I should get a 12, and I did get a 12. These shoes are wide enough for my feet, and their toe boxes have about 1/4" extra room, which is nice. I find them to be just as comfortable as the Adipowers and even more so. I can get a tight fit without any trouble because the laces feel strong. I do not have any complaints about this strap after a month of use. It seems to be flimsier than the strap on the Adipowers, and I can see that some people have had bad straps, but so far for me, there have not been any issues. There is about equal stability and traction between the two. It is made up of thicker material than the AdiPowers. It is the 0 degree heel that appeals to me about this shoe. With a heel height of 7 inches more than Adipowers, I am tall and have long legs, so a larger heel will be more comfortable for In spite of this, both shoes are the same height when viewed from the outside. Therefore, this means that your foot is higher up in the Nordic shoe. The back lip of the shoe needs to be a few millimeters taller than the front lip in order for this to work. As a result, even if it is very tightly tied, you still feel the shoe sliding slightly in the back because it does not match. These are not the ways of the Adipowers. There is nothing to be concerned about here The set is not too problematic for me, as I use these mainly for static movements like squats and lunges, but I can understand how it would cause problems for someone doing clean and jerks. Jerks or similar movements where your heels pop off the ground are acceptable. I am quite pleased with the fit, feel, and appearance of these shoes, and so far they hold up well when put next to shoes that are much more expensive. In the same way I hope my Adipowers did, I'm hoping that these withstand the test of time. I will update this review if any part of this fails prematurely.
