My height is 6'2 and my weight is 185 lbs. If necessary, there is a drawstring to tighten the pants if needed. II think a medium would work well for a 31in waist.

This has disappointed me greatly. All the reviews I read were very positive and raised my expectations significantly. I have an athletic build and these shorts run small for me. There is just something a little tighter about these for someone like my 34" waist. There is a lot of CHEAP material in this material. The quality of RVCA's products doesn't seem to be very durable, as I wear them all the time. Shorts with single stitching won't last very long, so expect these to wear out pretty quickly.

It is thin, cheap, and easy to work with. The RVCA shirts I have owned in the past have been of good quality, but these are of poor.

All three of these shorts are different sizes, and I ordered three styles. A size extra large should be bigger than a 30" waist, I don't understand.

These are atrocious and expensive

I found these on sale for around 35 If the price were 50, I wouldn't buy them. The things I'm talking about are too horrible to pay $15 for them. I am so disappointed in what is now a terrible quality brand. There is no stretch in the material except for a small amount on the waist. I will return it.

You will have trouble wearing bootie shorts if you're tall

I am all for the short fit, but tall people are not a good fit for these. I give them two stars since they're still an excellent material.

These shorts have a nice weight to them. Their substantial feel is paired with their breathability and comfort. They are perfect for all kinds of things, including swimming.
