There are enough openings in the zip to allow it to function normally. One big pocket is more to my liking than two smaller ones, so I didn't want a full zip. Despite being substantial and soft, the material is still quite thin. This is a very well made product.

Quarter zip hoodies are hard to come by, and this one is durable and well made. Despite its apparent shortcomings, it was so popular that I purchased a second one for him. Despite the fact that this sweatshirt is advertised as being made of 90% cotton and 10% polyester, when I received it, the tag inside states that it is made of 50% cotton and My expectations were not met based on the description. I am quite disappointed with the product I received. When I buy clothing, I always make sure that it has a high cotton content to keep static at bay.
