I have now purchased two Sitka Heavyweight Core Hoodies. As a starting point, I want to introduce The newer design of the 2019 model is shown here. Compared to the model shown above, the material on this one seems soft/spandex-like On the exterior, it looks like this. Compared to the old model, the hood/mask seems a little smaller, not in the fit, but in the sense that it zips up a little higher in order to cover up a little more of your face. As far as I can tell, the main improvement to this model is where the zipper on the hood is now. Instead of being placed right up the right side of the face like the old model had, it's been placed in the middle. I was right handed, so it was a little awkward on my anchor point. It seems the overall thickness of the material is the same. As with all Sitka Gear products, I find the quality to be very high, it performs well, and although it's quite pricey, considering the amount of use I am able to get from it as both a top and a base, the price seems reasonable. That's too much- I don't know of any multi-player games that are bad It is better to use one product rather than This is something I use in the early stages of my project During mid-season, it acts as both a top and a base layer under my Predator fleece, and during late season, it functions as both a top and bottom layer under my Fanatic Jacket. I like most about this hood as it completely encloses between the collar and what ever head cover you wear, the gap that usually occurs between those elements. If it is milder out, the hood can be worn over a ball cap. When it gets cold, I usually wear my Incinerator hat or Fanatic Beanie over mine. As I've come to find, Open Country pattern seems to work well in both the tree and on the ground, based on my experience, and the vendor was very quick in checking whether I ordered the 2019 or the older model (it is the 2019 model) and shipping was very fast. All in all, I find this product to be great and enthusiastically recommend it. Thank you. I hope this helps you.
In the first place, the garment is nothing in the least heavyweight. As compared to the Under Armour 2, this has less loft. The top number is zero. Its designation as a base layer led me to hope that it would serve as a mid to late turkey season and early archery season outside top, but I was disappointed at its inability to do that. In light of my first ever Sitka purchase ($159 out of the door), I know that I will keep spending my dollars on Kiui in the future. Is it able to accomplish what it's intended to do? I would say yes, but I don't expect what I expect.
Heavy weight is not what anyone would call it.
It is one of my favorite Sitka Gear items. There is good fit in the dress. The majority of my shirts and jackets are a 44. This is how I like XL to be loose on Mr! A good Merino Wool is warm and will work well over it.
In the description, this is referred to as a Despite its size, it is not heavy. My go-to gear is Sitka, and I think it is worth the price most of the time. The information on this item does not support that assertion. The item was returned to the store.
This is a beautiful This is a great base layer, or just to wear when the temperature is in the fiveties or as a regular shirt. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is that I feel it should have had a hood similar to the core lightweight hood with the face mask.
This is a beautiful place to hunt in. My understanding is that this is a lightweight and warm jacket!.
As of 2021, this won't be the same material that Sitka will offer. This is my second order from Sitka since my first order of XL was too big. My size is between medium and large, so I cannot wear the large. This vendor charged me an extra fee for returning the item, and I notice that the fabric is not as slick as that of the XL item I purchased.
