Yes, it certainly is! I don't pay attention to how I wash our clothes, and they're still the same color!
This shirt is not currently available in Tall sizes on Amazon, but it might be available elsewhere. However, I am 6'2" tall with a 74" wingspan, and my XL fits perfectly; just remember not to dry it in the dryer.

On a 6'2" 210lb 35" waist, they look great. They fit me perfectly at 70 years old, with a 45" chest athletic type frame. They're not too long, so I won't wear them out, but they're also long enough to tuck in and not 'ride' out. br>br>I'll wear these while working out in the yard, hiking, or sleeping at night when temperatures in the Northeast are in the teens. This shirt dries quickly and is extremely comfortable, even when sweating on a hike; it's cool and comfortable when damp from sweat and warm when the air is cold. br>br>I prefer it tucked in, but with a white V-neck. Cotten Neck XL - I like the look of wearing a tall short-sleeved shirt (Jockey) on the outside of my pants. And that's all I need under a down jacket or a hooded sweatshirt and windbreaker (on a hike in the 20s). This purchase has made me extremely happy.
First, let me explain why I lowered my rating to three stars. The neck circumference is excessively large and the garment is too loose around the neck. Because of the way the neckline fits, it appears to be more suitable for figure skating. Maybe it's just me, but I expect a base layer shirt to have a proper neckline that fits your neck snugly. Warmth and wicking are the goals of base layers, but if your neck and upper shoulders are exposed, it's a waste of time. Now, let's look at the advantages of wearing this shirt. The shirt fulfills all of its expectations! For me, the most important feature is that the shirt keeps you warm even when wet. I'm glad I chose this shirt as a base layer for a recent cold-weather Ultra race that required running at all hours of the day and night. My core never got cold, even when the temperature changed from night to day and back again. This is a great shirt if you don't mind the excessively loose neckline; however, the neck fitting is way too loose for my comfort and not even appropriate to wear alone. For reference, my neck size in dress shirts is an 18, so the issue is most likely with the neck diameter of this shirt. Until Minus33 fixes the neck looseness, I'll have to stick with a Helly Hansen base layer alternative or something that fits better as my go-to.
It was a waste of money. Despite following the directions, it falls apart in the wash. Purchase is not recommended. After five washes, it falls apart.
These products made of merino wool appear to be too good to be true. They keep you warm, but not too hot, when you need it. They don't appear to degrade over time. Wool, unlike cotton, is antimicrobial, which means it doesn't stink and doesn't need to be washed every time you wear it, as cotton does. For long flights, I would bring a sweatshirt in my carry-on. With just my merino sweater, I don't need it anymore. I wear mine almost every day (over shirts, not against the skin) and only wash it once or twice a year. It folds up into a small item that I can stow in my carry-on if I get too hot at an airport. br>A long battle with liver cancer was waged by a good friend of mine. Even in Arizona, I expected him to struggle to stay warm as his condition worsened. This company's pants (two pairs so he could change) were purchased by me. He was a resident of them. He inquired as to whether or not they also produced a top. As a result, I purchased two tops and a neck gaiter for him. He had on all three the last time I saw him alive. He didn't appear to have washed them (he was unable to shower or change). He adored them because they were so comfortable and kept his body temperature in check, despite his illness. He must have perished in them as well. br>I suppose you could call me a fan. br>PS I usually avoid wool because it irritates my skin, but these don't!.
There are three of them. There were four brands that appeared in reviews on a regular basis. I called them all, and Minus33's customer service was the most energetic, enthusiastic, and generally pleasant, so I chose their product based on that call. The shirt was comfortable to wear and had a nice "hang" to it. This was my first purchase of merino wool, and it met all of my expectations. It did an excellent job of temperature regulation, in my opinion. I was never cold in the morning, afternoon, or evening, and I never felt overheated or "sweaty" on our excursions. Perfect purchase, and I'm looking forward to using it for my bicycle commuting in the winter.
This is a base layer that I bought for cold-weather cycling in Minnesota. It's soft, regulates heat well, wicks moisture, resists odor, and has all of Merino wool's other benefits. It's ideal for that awkward period in between seasons when it's too hot for a soft shell but too cold to go barefoot. Over a t-shirt, I wear it to work. a shirt with a neckline of about 36o- 50ºF. After that, I throw on a soft shell and stay warm down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. The only drawback is that it is a little too small. The only disadvantage is the cost, but if you're like me and plan to use it frequently, Merino wool is always worth the extra money. I'm 5'10" and 150 pounds, with a preference for form-fitting clothing. non-conforming, clothing that is too big. The Medium is a little too big for me. Basically, it's the same as in the photo- Plus, if you gain weight, there's plenty of room.
This sweater is the second one I've bought. It's been a great backpacking companion for the past five years. I also have the heavyweight version, which I've used about as much as the lightweight version. The fit was the only problem I had. My height and weight are 5'10" and 175 pounds, respectively. I'm not a big guy with a beer gut, so I'm not a muscle man. I went with a large instead of a medium this time. I'm also going to order a large of the heavy version. For me, the medium is a little short in length as well as in the sleeves. They're decent sweaters for the money. They are appealing to me. Mine have a couple of tears from my abuse, so they're being replaced.
This is my second buy. Their navy blue appears to me to be more royal blue. Minus33 gets a point deducted for obfuscating the fact that these are made in China. From their "About Us" page on their website: "Still in New Hampshire," "historic New England," "traditional American values," and so on and so forth. Horsefeathers, if you're looking for a unique way to express Their administrative offices are in Ashland, New Hampshire, to be sure. However, the Packard Mill was shut down, and all of the workers were fired. I'd gladly pay a few extra dollars for something made in the United States.
