I conducted a microscopic examination of the shirt fibers as well as a burn test. Results: The shirt is made of natural materials, one of which is merino wool fibers of various sizes (the more uniform the fibers, the higher the product's quality), and the other is most likely cotton - That can be seen in the attached image - The wavy fiber strongly suggests cotton, whereas all of the straight fibers are unmistakably merino wool fibers (as evidenced by the scale structure). br>Overall, a good product that incorporates at least two natural materials - Cotton and merino wool.
" My husband regularly tells his hunting buddies about this product, and I was impressed that he even knew the difference between merino and Sherpa wool! He's a complete redneck, and you have to figure out his slang half of the time when he talks. I mostly just shake my head when he says things like "hell far" (hell fire) and other made-up words. He could spend the entire day talking about merino and Sherpa wool. Now I have a different opinion of him, as if he actually paid attention in English class. This shirt has made a significant difference in our sex lives; thank you!.
If I had to pit this shirt against something from Ibex or IceBreaker quality- I'd say it's about 90 of those brands' workmanship, but of course at about 50% (or less) the price. So, from a value standpoint, it's absolutely worth it. br>br>What are you willing to give up? Overall softness, in my opinion, falls just short of being perfect, at least in comparison. Again, it's most likely only about 10 itchier than an Ibex (RIP) Woolies shirt - I'm not bothered in the least, but I occasionally notice the texture/feel of the Meriwool shirt, whereas I never consider how my name feels. shirts with a particular brand name It's not a deal breaker, but it's something to keep in mind if you're picky about the feel of your clothes. br>br>The overall fit is good, if a little slim or athletically-styled. Oriented (which is good for thermal performance), but not overly so. However, you won't be getting the more personalized options. multi-sensory perception Something like the Ibex Woolies could be used to make a panel. Once again, the later shirt is likely more comfortable simply because its construction is more complex and ultimately better tailored to the chest/shoulder area without relying on the fabric s inherent br>br>Everything else is working fine. par: fit and finish, seam strength, fabric durability, quick drying ability, and machine washability are all factors to consider. as well as dryer friendliness, odor resistance, and so on. - Everything is in order. br>br>Personally, I can live with the price compromise; $45 gets you all the performance and nearly all the comfort of a $100 watch. It's difficult to beat a shirt for 120 dollars. However, if you want the absolute best, you should probably skip this shirt; just keep in mind that you'll have to spend twice as much to noticeably improve.
The material is scratchy rather than soft. The size runs small, so go up a size, but I wouldn't recommend buying from this seller. They advertise free returns, but I had to pay for shipping on my return, which arrived weeks ago and I have yet to receive a refund.
I chose a mid-weight shirt, which has proven to be ideal for autumn hiking. This shirt is extremely soft and warm for its size. While hiking, I began to wonder why we, as humans, wear anything else (until I checked the prices and remembered). br>br>Another feature I value is the shirt's length; as a 6'0" tall man in good shape, I find many medium shirts to be too short and many large shirts to be simply too big. For me, the medium shirt length is plenty long enough. br>br>I only took it off once to wash it after receiving it less than a week ago. Even after an 18-mile hike through New Hampshire's white mountains, there is still no odor. br>br>I have no regrets, and the only concern I have is the long-term viability of the product - Only time will tell, but so far it appears to be durable. Before winter arrives, I'm hoping to get a light and heavy weight shirt, as well as a pair of leggings.
This shirt (which is more like a light sweater) was purchased to replace an old merino wool sweater I purchased from a well-known brand, which was too thin and eventually ripped, whereas this Elementex sweater is much heavier and of higher quality. The design is straightforward and uncomplicated, with no excessive thickness or thinness. This, in my opinion, makes it quite versatile, as it can be worn alone, over a shirt, or layered with heavier outerwear without looking bulky. br>br>At first, I thought the price was a little high, but after wearing it and seeing how well it's packaged with useful information rather than just thrown in a bag, I think it's a great deal. There aren't any problems with the washing instructions because they're pretty standard. Finally, the fit is, in my opinion, true to size. Overall, I had a positive experience with Elementex and would purchase from them again. br>br>I've attached a photo of how it looks over a shirt on me, as I'm 5'7. 5. I'm a slim to average-sized woman, and I purchased a medium. However, if someone my size wants a more fitted look, I could see a small working for them.
Many customers inquire about fit, so here's what I have to say: br>br>I am 5'10" and weigh 225 pounds. With a 46R chest and a 17" neck, he has an athletic build. Normally, I'm dressed in a X-Small. Large top that can be used for almost anything. My pants are 34" wide and 32" long on average. I placed an order for the X-ray machine based on this information. The top is a size large, and the pants are a size large as well. Both are a perfect match. Pants are long enough but not excessively so. I'd say up to 6' and anywhere in the 32"-34" range. The Large would be suitable for a 36" woman, while the X-Large would be suitable for an X-Large woman. Also, a size large worked perfectly. I have not tried these outside yet but hope to use them on a Kayaking trip soon. br>br>They are not too tight, not too large, and the wool does stretch a little so they form to you well but are not as tight as a compression shirt. br>br>I have not tried these outside yet but hope to use them on a Kayaking trip soon. If I do end up in the water, the wool will at least help to keep my body warm. I'll try to provide feedback on how they perform and hold up later, but for now, I'm very pleased.
