The hat had been given to me as a present. The head of my grandson was the perfect size for Medium. The hat has a purpose. The Russian insignia is a removable pin.
Locals who are not familiar with Northern climates, where these are somewhat common, are perplexed by the pleasant and warm weather.
It was a hit with my father. It keeps him toasty, but it's a little too tight on his brow. The inside isn't lined with fur (which is a good thing if you sweat a lot). The Russian pin does not go back in after you remove it/it is extremely difficult to do so.
I am very pleased with this purchase; it keeps my head warm in the winter and the size 58 is perfect for me.
Temperatures of 0 degrees Celsius He liked it when he first saw it, but now that he's worn it, he absolutely adores it! The "ear flaps" that fold down to protect his ears are a particular favorite of his. He also looks good in the hat.
He currently resides in Colorado. This is an ideal present.
Great product, but it was a little smaller than expected. It's a huge hit with my grandson.
In the first 5 to 10 minutes, it was extremely warm. I've gotten a lot of compliments on how cool it is, so it's a great hat.
