What's wrong with me, mom? I see girls wearing them all the time, and they're cute.
My inability to grow facial hair has caused me to be ridiculed. My wife and children didn't think I was worth anything. At work, I was repeatedly passed over for promotions due to a "lack of leadership and an all-around poor performance. " Mansy pansy demeanor all around. " There had to be a shift. I never expected a beanie to make such a difference. I struggled with the plastic bag for about an hour and a half due to my lack of upper arm strength and fear of using sharp objects such as a knife or scissors. Finally, I took it out of the box and put it on. I was standing in the middle of a forest, holding a cigar in one hand and a gun in the other at the time. I'd built a shelter out of fallen trees, grown a beard, and wrestled a bear to submission. I can't thank you enough for the past three months. My family, including my wife and children, now regard me with admiration. Due to feelings of inadequacy, my boss decided to leave. When this beanie arrived, it was basically the start of my life. Everything that had gone before had been a blunder. Thank you so much, Carhartt.
I got a Carhartt knockoff in the mail. There were no tags included, and the logo is completely incorrect. The picture on the website is not the same as the one I received, the beanie is much smaller than all of my other Carhartt beanies, and the description makes no mention of it being fake. Some people may receive genuine Carhartt beanies, but based on the reviews, it appears that I was not the only one who received a knockoff. I usually read reviews, but for a simple Carhartt beanie, I didn't think it was necessary. So keep this in mind. br>The first image depicts a logo comparison. Clearly, they are not equivalent. br>br>In the middle photo, the fake beanie's tags are compared to the real beanie's tags. Carhartt is a brand of clothing that is not manufactured in China. br>br>The last photo shows the beanie I received from this seller on the left (a men's Carhartt acrylic beanie) and all of the REAL Carhartt products on the right. Okay, since there is a major issue with ordering this item from Amazon, I'll tell you what to look for when you get it to tell the difference between the deceptively convincing fakes and the legendary *L I F E S A V I N G* Carhartt's. I live 15 minutes from the world headquarters, I understand how this item should work, and I've bought at least thirty of these for friends, family, and myself over the course of my life. To begin, you must understand that this product is produced by three different factories: licensed factories in Kentucky, Canada, and China. Because they all have the same rib stitching and acrylic quality, the tagging of Chinese origin isn't a good way to tell if they're fake or real. The second concept is dimensional; the watch hat has a very specific length, width, and height ratio. Finally, and most importantly, the third understanding is that Chinese counterfeits are made for a specific purpose; Both the logo and the tear-off can be matched with convincing accuracy. They can match the quality to price ratio of a licensed Carhartt because of some import laws, but they can't yet match the quality to price ratio of a licensed Carhartt. In order to compete while remaining convincing enough to sell online, they must sacrifice a specific quality (the density and quality of the stitching). br> To determine if your hat is truly authentic, check that the brim measures 4 inches tall, the overall height 9 inches, and the brim width 8 and 1/2 inches when laid flat. Second, take the brim and stretch it between your fingers while holding it above a bright light source. In terms of constructional constitution, you should notice SIGNIFICANT elastomeric resistance and strength. You've got a fake if light passes through easily and you can see the internal stitching is loose, like a sock. There's no denying it; some are closer than others, but none are as tight, dense, or BULLETPROOF as a genuine watch hat. If you stretch and the hat looks like it might rip if you were hanging off a cliff, you've got a F A K E. We need these things to not die because it gets cold up here in Michigan, so pardon me if I sound irritated. I am. I've also noticed that the store "EZ Sportswear" consistently sells these fakes; they all say made in Canada, so I suspect there's some sort of import law they can get around and sell these bogus beanies around. The fact that it is sold directly by Amazon is insufficient evidence to certify these, as I have received numerous fakes from Amazon. Another important indicator is that stock for these items is almost always moving, with very little dead stock: As a result, go to Carhartt's main website and see what colors they have available. If you see fantastic colors only on Amazon, you should be suspicious (this does not negate the older heather patterns that are still available on here; I'm specifically referring to colors like Peach and Winter white, which appear flat white rather than the beige they should be). So there you have it; now stop arguing with me because I have received so many fakes from this website that I will no longer use it. It's also hilariously insulting that they'd try to sell the women's winter white for $45 when the genuine men's (one size only) is $14. So. People, beware; there's a good chance you'll be swindled without even realizing it. It is extremely inconvenient planning for presents that include this hat and receiving a fake 70% of the time.
I bought this in charcoal and misplaced it on a trip, so I went out and bought it again in the exact same color because I missed it so much. Now I'm returning to purchase it in additional colors. Although it is thick (due to the fact that it is a watch cap), I wear it all year in Dallas or Chicago - It's my favorite hat, as the title suggests. The fit is snug enough that I can sling it back without it falling off, and it fits equally well over my afro and straight hair, retaining its stretch after washing.

" I placed an order for five of these in various colors. Something doesn't appear to be quite right here. Both caps were ordered through this Amazon listing, but the gray one came from China and has a strange logo. It also doesn't appear to be as thick as it once was.
For quality, I give this a five. However, I will not wear it due to its sizing, so this is a personal style preference; I simply do not like a beanie that is folded over 3 inches and still sticks above my head for another 5 inches, as shown in the right photo. br>br>I did buy the Youth size to compare, and that's what I'm wearing in the left photo, and even that was too long for me. I was concerned that the Youth was too small at first, but when I tried the adult size, it was just as small. Despite the fact that I am bald, the Youth size would be long enough even if I had a full head of hair. br>br>So get this if you want the pointless extra 5 inches of fabric sticking out, but get the youth if you want the more form fitting top.
