I live in the rainy state of Washington, so is this hat suitable for rain?

It'll come in handy on a rainy day. If you have a rain umbrella, that is. It is not, however, waterproof. It's just a knit hat with a fleece lining on the inside, primarily for warmth.

Is the thick thread as well as the thin thread resistant to water?

Water will not be able to pass through thick thread.

I ordered another hat as soon as I got it on my head because it was warm without being bulky and comfortable enough to do its job without causing any problems, such as when I was wearing glasses. I must not have been alone in my decision because they were sold out and I had to wait for the next shipment, which was no problem because it would be well worth the wait and at a great price. Let me also point out that this is a very warm cap that will fit any head size in New York!.

Warmth and Softness! When I'm hiking, I put this on and it keeps my ears nice and warm

It fits my head comfortably without being too tight, is stylish, and the inside is extremely soft. The brown leather logo patch adds a nice finishing touch. Overall, this is a fantastic product.

For the big-headed, there's a hat

It is very comfortable for me because I have a large head. I've got an earbud in my ear and it's very comfortable. In addition, it is quite warm. Outside, I have yet to issue a warning.

This beanie has a fantastic shape, snug on the inside but with plenty of room on top. I purchased the smooth grey and am very pleased with it. It is impossible to make a mistake! It also has a pleasant leather logo tag that is actually quite attractive. Take one of these beanies home with you; you'll enjoy it!.

The stitching on the hat came undone after less than a week, which was a disappointment

When I first submitted the review, I didn't realize I was logged in under the wrong account. My husband received this as a Christmas present, and while he finds the hat to be very comfortable and warm, the stitching came undone after only a week of use. This occurred before the garment was even washed. I was able to get a replacement from the merchant. Sadly, after about two months, the replacement developed the same problem. This product is not something I would recommend.

Although well-made, I find it to be too small for me

While the construction of this hat was fine, the size was too small for me; I have an average head (hat size 7 3/8) and it didn't even cover the bottom of my ears when I tried it on. It only took a fraction of a second to realize that this was not going to work.

This cap is fantastic! I'm not sure what to say

I'm a guy, so I wear the clothes I care about until I've squeezed every last drop of life out of them. My old stocking cap met the same fate, so I had no idea where to look for a new one when the time came. Of course, Prime was there for me, and I chose this one based on the reviews. It made my day! To begin with, the temperature. Second, comfort. The inner fleece lining is sooooooo soft and comfortable. I live in an area where winters can be brutal, and I'm confident this will hold up just fine. Finally, I enjoy the appearance of the beanie style. It is not conspicuous in any way. This stocking cap is one of my favorites!.

Longer hair will not ride up

It appears to be of good quality and that it would keep me warm in the winter, but it rides up whenever I move my head. Yes, I'm a woman, and it's possible that it's not designed for longer hair, but I decided to give it a shot anyway, and I'm sorry I did. I assumed that a tighter fit would mean less movement on my head, but it simply won't stay on. I've already thrown away the packaging, so I won't be able to return it.
