It performs the functions that you would expect a hat to perform. It is worn on the head and keeps the head warm. So the hat, which is nothing more than a hat, performs as expected.
This beanie is perfect for me. It is extremely cozy. I've never felt a material as soft as this one. Please keep in mind that my boyfriend and I attempted the challenge together.
I've tried to buy slouchy beanies for my husband in the past, but they were either too small or stuck up in an odd place, and he refused to wear them. This hat, on the other hand, is large and stretchy enough to fit a wide range of head sizes while remaining slouchy. My husband can even wear it to work (as a school teacher) on cold mornings because the material is soft and well-made. It keeps his head warm and his hair under control! Haha.
I'm big- so one-headed (too much brain) Even when the material is stretchy, a one-size-fits-all approach rarely works on my gourd. This beanie is not only comfortable, but it also fits well. over or above the earlobes Someone commented that it appeared silly, but I'm thinking they've spent too much time in front of the mirror. It's comfortable and does the job of a winter beanie. It's also simple to tuck into (or take out of) a coat or pants pocket on the go as the weather changes. I asked the company because I couldn't find any care instructions (that I could find). Only clean by hand. This is what I'll be wearing in the high Alps.
It's more akin to a nerd hat. As others have pointed out, this hat does not give you a slouchy look - The fabric is too stiff, and the excess (which is excessive), like a Pope's mitre, points up and out. In this hat, I looked ridiculous. One of the issues is that, in addition to the stiffness, there is a thick seam at the end of the floppy part that keeps it erect; I'm checking photos carefully before ordering a new one to ensure there is no seam at the end - A pointy hat differs from a slouchy hat because of this. I gave it two stars because the fabric is thick and comfortable, the subtle weave appealed to me, and the hat, despite its ridiculous shape, is well made. A product image can be deceiving once again - Although the photos make it appear slouchy, trust me when I say you'll look like a conehead wearing it.
My hat size is 7, and it fits my head much better than it does in many of the examples. 5 U. The fit on my head is quite snug, not loose and "slouchy," but as tight as I can tolerate in a knit cap, and it's not at the top of the sizing chart. Because it's nearly impossible to find an inexpensive knit cap marked XL or sized in any way, I believe the term "one size fits all" is used by manufacturers of knit caps in general to simplify their manufacturing process and lower costs. There are multiple complaints about the tightness of the fit in the thousands of reviews on knit hats, indicating that this is a universal problem, especially where there are literally dozens of different brands to choose from. The sizing, I believe, is done in the countries of origin, but the marketing is done internationally, where there are many larger, big-name companies. People who are boned or heavier and require larger knit caps than are currently available from competitive sources.
I wanted a beanie that I could pull forward and still be slouchy in the back without looking like a coconut head, and this beanie does the job perfectly. It's comfortable and doesn't itch like my other beanies, it's lighter than most and not super dense but still keeps my head and ears warm, it's nice and slouchy, and the fit is nice, so if you're looking for a nice, big slouchy beanie, this is the hat for you.
The beanie was a little tight when it arrived, as they usually are in my experience. After that, I go through my usual stretching routine to ensure a nice, comfortable fit for my large head. I tried to deal with it, but it's so darn tight it gives me a migraine. Wasn't able to return it for obvious reasons, but I'm bummed because it's a waste of an excellent beanie that's just a size too small. Alternatively, it could be that you're a size or two too small. Take what you want from it, whether it's a high-quality, snug-fitting beanie or my big head. If you're a deep thinker, you might ask yourself that question. Is there any way that beanie is going to fit in here? Hey, I'll give it to my children in the future! Take a look at this! While addressing my problem, I discovered a solution!.
