Questions & Answers

Is the black ring and end painted black, and will they wear or scratch off with use?

I'd never considered it before. It's not a case of mistaken identity. Powder coating, in my opinion, is a method of applying a thick layer of tough plastic by baking it on. If I'm correct, it will be extremely difficult to scratch, but it may eventually show wear after a long period of time. I haven't had mine long enough for it to show any signs of wear, but if you only have one belt and wear it every day, it will eventually. If you work in an environment where your belt buckle frequently comes into contact with another surface (workbench, carrying boxes), it may show signs of wear. However, in normal use, they should maintain their matte black finish for a long time.

How long is the 31-day period? The 36-inch and the 34-inch are two of the most popular sizes. Belts that measure 39 inches?

Dear Customer, the total length is 31-minutes. The total length of 36-inches is 34-inches by 42-inches by 42-inches by 42-inches by 42- 46" is equivalent to 39"

The company is replacing the metal end with a leather end, according to the description. Will it be black or brown leather?

Both the loops and the tail are black in the photos of the newer belts in the listing.

Is the 40-inch version of the 40-inch version of the 40-inch version of the 40-inch version of the 40-inch version Is a size 43 belt the best option, or should you go up a size?

How much "tail" you want on the slack side of the buckle is a factor in the answer. I prefer the shorter belt because I don't like a lot of tail; keep in mind that these belts don't have any holes and function more like a strap. The entire length of the belt can be secured by pulling it through the buckle.

The belts I received are excellent quality, well-made, stiff canvas, strong, and LONG for those who require it! I do not completely understand 12% one- These belts have received a five-star rating on Amazon
5/5

I've been meaning to write a short review to counter some of the really pretty negative reviews I've read, and I read a lot of them before I purchased, and I purchased with some trepidation because so many reviews said the belt was likely to fall apart, but I've used them heavily and waited a few weeks to even review in case I was wrong, but I find the belt exactly as advertised, very well made, very stiff canvas that stays stiff even at the cinch buckle, excelle, Even though it is not double-stitched, the stitching at the cinch buckle end is fine and strong, showing no signs of failure even after repeated use. stitched, and I tighten by grabbing the loose end and hauling it! I do it in line with the belt, not across it, but I'm not gentle because I like my belts tight, which is one of the reasons I chose this type of belt to begin with. My weight has a tendency to fluctuate, ah'hm? what shall we call it? For some reason, belts with holes never seem to have the hole in the correct location for me. This style always fits, no matter how much weight I gain or lose on a daily basis. br>br>So, if you're on the fence about ordering because there appear to be a lot of 1-star reviews, don't be. I'm not sure if some people received "lemons," but I bought four of these so that each pair of pants I wear has its own belt already in the loops, allowing me to grab and go without having to thread the belt through. All four are equally strong and well-made, and they're still holding up after weeks of not being pampered. So go ahead and do it, and please let us know if yours turn out to be lemons, because mine aren't.

Canvas belts are also worn by women
5/5

I bought it because I needed a lighter belt that would still hold my weight. I work in a factory, where the temperature can fluctuate between 90 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature is set at 100 degrees. So anything I could do to make things lighter and more breathable would be beneficial. br>It's been a fantastic belt. It's sturdy, easy to disassemble for trips to the restroom, and simple to tighten if necessary while working. Exactly what I had been looking for. br>I've had this for months and have worn it several times, and it still looks brand new. I work 12-hour shifts and it shows no signs of wear.

It works
4/5

Since leaving the military, I've worn military-style belts for more than a decade, and I still wear one of them, despite its "sorry" appearance. I tried a few of the knockoffs available on Amazon and found that the "buckles" were far weaker, with the hinge that connects the buckle to the canvas strap popping off just by looking at them. Then I came across these as a suggested item for me to look into. I ordered two (I have a bad habit of ordering two belts at once) and they both worked perfectly. I spend a significant portion of my day bending over, wearing a tool belt, climbing ladders, and performing other tasks that the knockoffs would not tolerate. Even better, it doesn't make me feel uneasy, and it holds up much better than I anticipated. I had about 5 pounds of nails in a bag attached directly to the belt, a hammer and trimming tools in my carpenters pants, a level hanging from the opposite side of the belt, and of course a cell phone case attached to the belt, and the belt never slipped even though I was 10 feet in the air. For quality control, I deducted one star. br>br> For both belts I received, the belt end has a metal "clip" on it to keep it from fraying, and it was put on at an angle, leaving 1/2 of the belt tip exposed. To keep the belt from unraveling, I removed the clip completely and singed the ends, then riveted two pieces of scrap metal on top (after painting them black).

Great belt, but go up a size
5/5

I'm not an expert on these types of belts, but they appear to be well-made and functional. A cautionary note: I originally purchased the belt because it was advertised as being suitable for 40-year-olds. That product was too short for me, as there was very little extra belt to tuck away after folding through the buckle. I sent an email to the seller, who promptly responded and offered to send the larger size (54", I believe). I received the replacement quickly, and I believe it is a much better fit. As a 40-year-old woman, I've got a lot of power in my hands. Using the larger belt leaves enough belt to tuck cleanly into the first belt loop for a 42" waist guy (according to my clothes, at least). Personally, I prefer a belt that is a little longer than it is too short. br>br>To summarize, I think it is a good product, but consider purchasing a larger size because the seller is very responsive if you have any issues.

I just received the canvas belt and checked it for workmanship
5/5

It appears to be in good condition! My mother was in charge of measuring, cutting, and re-cutting the fabric. To ensure a perfect fit, sew the buckle back onto the belt. My mother is a seamstress, so there hasn't been any issues thus far! I ordered a belt that was longer than I needed because I wanted to get a more accurate belt measurement for my waist and have some room to play with at the belt tip end! Just in case I put on a pound or two!.

Pants fall down when the belt snaps at a restaurant
3/5

fml. I believe I have one of the older ones. Purchased in June 2018 to replace one I removed from a pair of shorts that came with a belt that looked similar to the one sold. It lasted ten years and is now worn and frayed from frequent use in a restaurant kitchen. With only light casual wear, your belt lasted 5 months. A week ago, the metal tab broke off. My belt snapped at the stiches holding the D rings today in a public place. This belt has thicker nylon webbing and heavy-duty d rings, and I'm extremely embarrassed and angry about it.

Although it is inexpensive, it is not of poor quality
5/5

I'd say it's a tad short; if you want a longer tail, go up a size, though the next size up looks a little too long to me. br>br>But aside from that, I have no complaints. It's inexpensive, and the elastic retainer band and stitching appear to be of good quality. The flexible cotton is far more comfortable than a traditional web belt. br>br>While no one would call this a "great gun belt," drawing from it (IWB) worked well with a subcompact, such as the Sig P365. It sags a little, though, due to its flexibility. It's fine if you pull it tight- ish. So far, I've only worn it for a grocery run because it's comfortable around the house and I'm too lazy to change belts.
