You can use it if you are fit, if you have a bit of an abdominal area forget about it. I used it for about 3 months before switching to a belt and wow , finally I can wear it on my waist (2 o'clock carry). The belt I have is too flimsy, my holster flipped a couple of times before almost dropping it
This is a material that falls somewhere in between. It is not as crazy stretchy as elastic but it does not feel as tough as a seatbelt. It feels more like a seatbelt than elastic.

My love for it has grown after one day. There have never been any belts that are more comfortable to carry concealed. A copy of IWB appendix is with me.
