This passport holder is very well made and of a good size. The pouch is just small enough to fit in my back pocket (always a challenge with women's jeans) and is only about an inch long. This transparent window allows for easy and quick entry of the passport, and allowing it to be easily removed for inspection by customs. Credit cards and ID cards fit nicely in vertical pockets as they are wider than your typical credit or ID card. In addition, there are other pockets large enough to carry receipts, bills, and other essentials. I hope to use it more on the road to see if it's a viable alternative to my bi-annual trip. Having taken the time to look at the passport/card holder, I am very happy with my choice. My favorite color is the pink one, which I ordered. As of now, I have not stuffed it full, but it seems to work well, considering it has RFID and room for cards, bills, passes, tickets, etc. I have just "tested" it at home, so I have not stuffed it full yet. On the front of the passport you will see a simple design with the words "Passport" embossed—no garish "look at me!" It has a seal/emblem/eagle on the front, making it appear to be US tourist related! Adding a magnetic closure just seems like a logical upgrade for me. It is true others are available that have a clasp, but the color choices are not as varied or good (in my opinion), it adds bulk, and it is also true a sown-in clasp is more secure It would not break with a magnetic closure, but it may break with a clasp.
