Although the bag lacks a gusset, it appears to hold at least four garments once unzipped. On my most recent trip, it was done for me.
Sorry, this was a gift for my granddaughter's blue prom dress storage. Black was the color of the bag. Her dress was med-length and she didn't mention any color transfer. I don't think it would have been noticed because it was dk blue.
My garment bag has been in my possession for quite some time, and I don't recall it smelling when I first received it. There is no "plastic smell" because it resembles fabric rather than plastic.
On the bag I received, there were none.

I don't have high expectations for this bag, given that it couldn't even survive the initial shipment to my house. The outer plastic bag, as well as the plastic shipping bags, had been chewed a little, and this product was unable to handle it- at all. It's fine if you're just going to keep it in your closet, but I wouldn't take anything important with you in it if you're traveling. br>br>When I bought it, I had no idea what it was made of. However, if you yank on it hard enough, the cheap, flimsy fabric will shred. It's similar to the cheap reusable grocery bags (but thinner). I've had those fall apart after regular use, so it's no surprise it died in transit. You should continue your search if you're looking for something made of nylon or plastic.
This garment bag is truly long enough to fit a full-length garment. a floor-length formal gown Double- Zip it up as well (from the top or bottom, meeting in the middle) for easy access. If you're looking for an ID tag, this is the place to go. The pink (really bright pink!) is a great value. ) set my bag apart from the rest of my travel companions' luggage. (This is a large group. ) It was fantastic to be able to pick my bag out of a crowd of about 30 others right away.

The loop to hook the bag's bottom to the hanger can't hold super heavy garments, but it's a good quality garment bag. It began to rip a little, but it stayed put!.
