Is it safe to assume that the roll's length is 21" as well?

You are entirely correct. The total number of rolls is 21." The total length of each bag is 72". I adore these bags, and I cut each one to the length I require because they are longer than most. In addition, the price is very reasonable.

Would these bags be able to accommodate a voluminous prom gown? And what about the rest of the Lomg prom gowns?

Yes. They're perfect for long overcoats with plenty of room in the length. Without some thought, the width might not be able to accommodate a super-puffy flared prom gown.

The bags are of good quality and thickness. Yes, there are 72 of them. They're quite substantial. I have shorter ones as well, but I noticed last year that if you don't cover everything, it looks like you didn't cover everything. The bottom of the garment becomes soiled. Yes, it's a little longer, in fact, it's a lot longer, but it's necessary to cover the entire garment. Trust me.

For my wedding gowns (bridal shoppe), I ordered the 72" long ones, which are thick enough to pull over the shoulders. Pull without ripping the fabric. The roll dispenser is also quite nice. This is my second order of these bags, and I plan to keep ordering them. Love 'em!.

Great poly bags to keep my clothes safe in the closet! This is a benefit because these are thicker plastic bags than those found at a dry cleaners

I'm going to use my vacation time to cover my expenses. To keep my clothes dust-free, I season them in my closet (which I recently cleaned out). These will also be useful for covering the maxi-sized items. I plan to use these bags to keep everything in my closet tidy, including floor-length gowns that I only wear to weddings, etc. I'm thrilled I came across these. The cardboard box was filthy and depressing in appearance. The roll of bags, on the other hand, appeared to be undamaged upon arrival. Hooray!.

Not all 250 points were earned

I've bought this item several times, and despite the fact that it says there are 250 pieces, I've only counted 180. The price remains the same, and although I paid for 250 pieces, I only received 180. This product does not meet my expectations.

180- There are only 200 available! Overall, a good product with only one criticism: I've already purchased a number of rolls, but it only has 200 bags or less!

I wish I had paid more attention to the length of the piece. I didn't expect them to be as long as they are. The only use I can think of for these poly bags is to store long evening gowns. They're far too long to be worn with suits, skirts, or tops.
