Because my dress was made of a lot of lace, it did have a few wrinkles, but the resort where we were staying steamed it for free. Overall, I think you'll be fine and won't have to worry about wrinkles if your dress isn't too big or too long, which mine was.
Yes, it does; I needed a carry-on bag for my dress.
The trick is to triage the situation first. The bag should be folded. Place the bag flat on a table or counter. After that, fold the bag's bottom to the middle. Fold it once more so that the handles are at the same end. Now you should be able to line up the top zipper. It zips up the bag's top. The side flap zippers should be lined up in this position. Connect the zipper at the top of the flap and zip down one side; repeat on the other. This bag is ideal for transporting a number of large ballroom gowns to events. My only suggestion is that it be equipped with a shoulder strap so that it can be carried alongside other items.

In theory, this design would be perfect for a dress bag! This bag, on the other hand, is of poor construction. The zipper comes undone easily. There's nothing stopping it from crashing to the ground! I was also under the impression that the garment bag would be folded to fit inside a separate bag rather than becoming the bag itself. That isn't a big deal, though (I should have read the description more carefully for clarification). The clear plastic portion of the bag is not particularly durable. The plastic part appears to be rippable. The bag does have a odor, but it can be alleviated by allowing it to air out. It comes with a shoe bag, but it will rip if you put any kind of heel in it. It took a little while to figure out how to zip up the bag, but once you do, everything seems to work out fine; however, I'll have to adjust the bag so the zipper doesn't fall off. I'd suggest looking for a different bag in general.
I decided to get a garment bag because I was nervous about checking my wedding gown (cathedral style). This is, I suppose, what you get for your money. Although the quality isn't great (as you can see in the video, one of the handles fell off on my first plane ride), I can still wear the dress and keep it in my sight. I advise the buyer to purchase one of higher quality. I'm dissatisfied with how quickly it disintegrated.
Do not make a purchase. Zippers get caught in the fabric. The item's concept is fantastic! When I got it, I was ecstatic because my clothes fit perfectly without gathering at the bottom. Unfortunately, the zippers are designed in such a way that they easily come undone. Between zipping it up, putting it in the car, and taking it out of the car, one zipper came undone. br>While unzipping the bag to remove my clothes, a second zipper came undone. I was able to reattach the zipper, but I'm sure it could come undone at any time. Unfortunately, this defeats the purpose of the bag zipping up to protect the clothes and keep them organized while traveling: /br>I was really hoping this would work. I'll have to look for one that has better reviews and is possibly a little more expensive, but it'll be worth it.
This bag is ideal for holding the wedding gown; however, it took some time to figure out how to use it, so make sure they provide instructions. Even with heavy down poir on my dress, I was able to walk without it crumpling or becoming wet!.
We eloped in Iceland just a few months ago. For photos, I had two outfits, one of which was quite large. heavy! This bag can hold both dresses. zipped. As a carry-on, I used it. on & The airline went out of its way to make us feel welcome. Because getting it zipped with the poofy dress was a minor feat, I didn't unzip it to hang it on the flights. On a four-day camper van trip, it remained zipped. When I was finally able to open both dresses, they were barely wrinkled! br>br>I'm not sure why some people couldn't get it to zip. You can see how it's zipped if you pay attention when unpacking it; I found it to be fairly straightforward. If you're going on a trip abroad with a dress (or two! ), this bag is a must-have.
This garment bag is one I strongly advise against purchasing. It was purchased to transport my wedding gown from my home to the ceremony, but I never used it. When I went to zip the bag closed, every single one of the zippers came right off in my hand, and this was with a light thin dress inside. I'm going to have to go out and buy a new, more expensive bag from the bridal shop instead because the bag was worthless. Ordering this low-cost, low-quality bag is a complete waste of time and money.
I got the dress with the ball gown and extra tulle to make it look like a huge ballerina gown, and it fit perfectly! It took a little squeezing to fit everything in, but it's so nice to have the dress put away! Thank you for creating this item.
