There is something wrong with your bag. I think you need to check it more carefully. The leather straps you can see on mine attach to the front of the bag at one end and to the top at the other. The clips do come unclipped from the flaps. As far as I am concerned, those are "NOT" rivets but, in fact, snaps. You can see it there. As well, I initially thought they were rivets when I first got the bag, but they are, in fact, Tell me when you hear from me.

A weekend bag or an overnight bag of this size would be ideal. In addition to being highly breathable, the leather is also high-quality. particularly enjoy the solid brass fittings and rivets, which have a very high polish and are well-made. This bag measures 21" x 8" x 12", and it has strong dual carry handles along with a long detachable shoulder strap that can be used for carrying over the shoulder or cross-body. Despite its size, this bag will fit in any overhead compartment (even those found on regional jets) or under the seat in most aircraft. It will be easier for me to carry on since my carry on is too big to fit on the plane. This bag features a top loading design which makes it extremely easy to fill, and the bag opens completely rather than narrowing at the top as most other bags do. There is a heavy duty flap which completely covers the zipper and snaps securely on the side. There are two pockets on the sides of the bag, one long zippered pocket, and one small oven pocket that is excellent for storing a boarding pass or paper on the plane. With a heavy duty zippered top and sturdy grommeted leather pulls, the main compartment is lockable with a heavy duty zipper. In the fully lined interior, there is an open wall on one side, a padded laptop sleeve on the other, and two cell phone pouches and a zippered compartment on the other side. My 13" macbook fits in the laptop sleeve, and it looks like a larger laptop would fit at ease as well. The leather pulls on this bag are brass grommets, and the bag is constructed of heavy duty stitching and brass grommets. I received my bag at a reduced rate for the purpose of testing and reviewing it. In my opinion, this bag is a staple for my luggage, and I am already looking at other products from iBlue to complement I chose to order a bag in the color green rather than the olive green shown in the listing (see photograph).
The quality is good, the construction is solid. It could have fit two weeks' worth of clothing (2 slacks, 2 jeans, 1 dress, 3 leggings, multiple tops and undergarments, workout wear, sneakers, and toiletries), yet I packed it in cubes and rolled it up. During my absence, I also took care of laundry. Although the buckles do not unsnap at the top as described when I purchased, once you have used them you will find this deters tampering with your bags if you get too close to them, and you will find the buckles last longer than snaps would.
Khaki is a dark green in color or a brownish color. The color of this picture is terrible. In addition, there is a problem with the bag handle. The color is different than what you are expecting. It's a shame that leather is so.
The strap isn't attached to the sides of the jacket. I was surprised by how heavy the canvas was, which adds to the weight of the project. The bag is good for overnight travel. There are zippered pockets and unzipped pockets on this bag. An extended shoulder strap is the only thing "missing". Because I knew this from the photo, I did not subtract a star for it. I absolutely love it and so does my husband.
There is no doubt about the My favorite part of It is made especially strong for people with a habit of being especially hard on luggage like myself. If you shake it, your items will come out so you can store them. There are a variety of pockets in which items can be placed. This is not a bag for women who are feminine. It has a more rugged appearance, which I like. It's a bag with multiple functions. Camping or traveling is a good use for it. The bag is just nice.
This bag is awesome. Our dog is a therapy dog, and we travel together. He can use it for all of his gear and even my own. It is very durable and of excellent quality, I would give it five stars if I could.
This bag has a very nice build quality overall. To extend the life of the leather on the handle, I recommend treating it with some oil to help condition and protect it.
Having watched the video and scanned the ratings before purchasing, I bought it. video makes it look like the bag is much bigger than it actually is.
