I've been walking to work with it as a laptop bag, and it's held up admirably. However, there is no padding for a laptop, which makes me concerned about its long-term durability. I'm thinking of getting a new backpack to carry my laptop in and keeping this one for hiking.
Dear Steven Lemire,br> There are two sections to this letter. a section of the bag's main chamber that is closed off A 50oz bladder could most likely fit in the one on the backside. The bag doesn't have any tube ports, but the main chamber has two double zippers on either side of a tube that could be closed. I hope this has been of assistance to you. br>With best wishes,br>SPD Group
It comfortably fits my 13-inch laptop with room to spare.

I wore it for about 12 hours one day and found it to be quite comfortable. With plenty of room to spare, I carried five powerade bottles, a spare water bottle, a camera, pants, and a hoodie. Before it became overburdened, I would have been weighed down. It also has a low profile, which came in handy when I had my back to a steep wall. I liked the mesh pockets on both sides, and I kept changing out my powerade bottles. With the check strap buckled, the backpack felt extremely secure. Except when I had my body tilted at an angle and it started to slide, it never got in my way or felt loose; even then, it only budged a little and didn't change my weight too much. br>br>The fact that it folds up into its own pocket came in handy because I only brought a "personal item" sized bag with me on this trip and it didn't take up much space. br>br>Due to the extremely rough treatment it received, a few tears have developed at the bottom, so we'll see how the lifetime warranty holds up. Based on how that is handled, I'll most likely update and add or subtract a star. Overall, though, I'm quite pleased with it! br>br>Recent changes: br>br> My question about the lifetime warranty was promptly answered, and I was able to place an order for a free replacement. It should arrive in a few days, and I don't anticipate any problems, so I'm raising my service rating to 5 stars; I'll keep you updated if anything goes wrong.
****After being contacted by the company following my original review, I have changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars. They informed me of the bag's lifetime warranty and offered to replace it or refund my money. I chose a refund because I'd rather have a higher-quality bag than keep replacing this one, but if you're looking for a lighter-weight light-duty bag, this could be a good mid-range option. a price range option ***
br>I bought this backpack for a trip to Mexico, and I wanted something that would keep me dry if we got caught in a tropical downpour. That is exactly what we did. I liked it, but I'm not sure I'd buy it again. PROS: br>br>
- There are numerous pockets, which proved to be extremely useful in keeping everything in order. br> * There is a smaller separator and an additional zipper pocket inside the front lower zipper pocket. This was extremely safe and convenient. br> * We liked the upper front zipper pocket because it allowed us to store a few snack bars and our sunglasses without scratching them. br> * The side mesh pockets were a good size, and we were able to comfortably fit extra-large liter water bottles in them. br> * There were two additional subdivisions in the main pouch, one against the front and one against the back, which were also very useful.
- The bag itself was extremely light. br>- It folds down to a small size and zips up to make packing a breeze. br>- The straps were sturdy and comfortable, and the chest strap came in handy when the bag was heavy. br>- The "water-resistant" fabric did a good job of keeping the contents dry. ish on a boat or when it was rainingbr>br>CONSbr>- The material was too thin, and it was ripped in several places by the end of the trip, even though it was only a month long.
- The "water resistance" was more of a treatment on the inside of the fabric, so after a lot of use, rubbing, heat, and, yes, water, the treatment stuff was peeling off all over the bag. br>- The edges of the fabric where the zipper was sewn on were not burnt or finished in any way, which resulted in strings constantly pulling away and becoming caught in the zipper. Almost every day, I'd yank off large balls of fluffy thread that had frayed at the edges.
- The upper outer front pocket's zipper cover was constantly getting caught. The manufacturer appears to have taken notice of the large number of user reviews mentioning this issue, but their solution was to make the zipper cover flat LARGER. This only serves to exacerbate and exacerbate the problem. It would have been better if they had used a WATER RESISTANT ZIPPER instead of a zipper cover, as they do on the lower front pocket.
- Unfortunately, this backpack only lasted for this one trip, which is a bummer. I wish I had spent a few dollars more on a better backpack.
This was my checked bag, which contained a week's worth of clothing and toiletries for my trip to Iceland. Despite the fact that this backpack was smaller than my friends', I was able to pack more. It was great for traveling, but I didn't take it hiking with me. Now I take it into the city with me as my daily commuter bag, and it gets very little use. br>br>Recently, the chest strap buckle broke, so I requested a replacement and received a coupon code to re-order. Because of the lifetime warranty, you can get the backpack for free. That's incredible. While I don't use the bag frequently, it holds up well for my travel needs, and I'm grateful for the lifetime warranty. br>br> It will hold up as checked luggage if you want to take it on a flight. So, in my opinion, this backpack is worth purchasing again.
For day hikes, I purchased this backpack. I like how lightweight it is and how easily it folds up for storage. There are numerous pockets to organize anything you might need to take with you. The inside lining began to peek out from the bag after only the second use. After four uses, the photo below was taken. I bought the pack ahead of time for my vacation, only to discover that my return window had closed when I got home. The company quickly offered to reimburse the cost, and I will update my review once I receive my refund.
This daypack piqued my interest because it folds up and fits easily into a backpack. However, while hiking in the heat of summer, the interior began to melt and peel away. Also, because there is no interior structural support, putting anything in here causes it to sag to the bottom, with no weight distribution. I wouldn't have cared if it hadn't melted L I was really looking forward to using this day pack because it folds up and fits easily into a backpack. However, while hiking in the heat of summer, the interior began to melt and peel away. Also, because there is no interior structural support, putting anything in here causes it to sag to the bottom, with no weight distribution. Which I wouldn't have complained about if it hadn't melted.
