Because I bought these Sorel kids snow boots around the age of 2, I'd say they run a little big. For a 9-year-old girl who is now 11 years old and still wears them, I bought them 5 to 3 years ago.

I usually buy a size 6 in Sorel womens, and these big kids size 5 fit well, maybe a little big but plenty of room for thick/layered socks, which is exactly what I wanted. They have a good seal. Because I'm a short adult woman (4'11"), the children's boot's height is ideal for me. The purple boot shaft adds a pop of color, but the black foot goes well with my black winter coat. The fit is a little bulky, but that's to be expected with winter boots. I just got them, so I can't comment on how long they'll last or how comfortable they'll be for long periods of time, but I'm confident they'll be warm and comfortable. During the winters in New England, it's fashionable to wear a hat.
Beautiful and well-made. For my fashionista niece, this is the ideal blend of style and function. So well-made for the high peaks of New Mexico and Colorado, as well as the feet of snow in Washington. My niece came up north for spring break last year, and there was 5 feet of snow, and she didn't have the proper footwear. She'll do it this year. br>br>I went with a mauve, purple color. It isn't quite as purple as it appears. It's a beautiful shade of blue. It's not quite as dark as it appears in the photo, but it's not purple either.
I have yet to put them on in the winter. I'm a grown-up with a number of responsibilities. They are a good match! I'm looking forward to it. They're also not overly heavy. When it snows, I'll post an update.
My toes are still completely warm after stomping through the snow. These have exceeded my expectations! They're also extremely comfortable and simple to put on and remove. br>As an adult woman who usually wears a size 6, I purchased these. I bought a children's 5 based on the size chart, but had to exchange them for a 6 because they were too small. Returns profess was a piece of cake.
IF YOU TAKE THE FIRST STEP DOWN 1. YOU CAN WEAR THEM AS AN ADULT IN 2 SIZES IN "BIG KID" SIZES. I AM A FEMALE WITH A SIZE 5 BODY. I ORDERED THE SIZE 5 AND IT WAS A SUCCESS. MORE THAN HALF OF MY MONEY WAS SAVED. VERY WARM AND SLIGHTLY BULKY, AS IS TO BE EXPECTED WITH SNOW BOOTS:.
Our ten-year-old daughter adores these boots so much that we bought another pair in the same color. We ordered them as soon as she outgrew her previous pair from the previous year. They're very fashionable, according to her. They are certainly warm, and they are a perfect fit for her. She says they keep her feet super warm and dry when she goes out to play at recess and in the snow because she wears them over her leggings.
They were too big, and by the time I returned to order a smaller size, they had vanished! I was irritated, but I simply ordered another color. Whatever the case may be, keep in mind that THESE THINGS ARE MASSIVE! If possible, order a smaller size.
I'm a size 6 1/2/- and these boots are gorgeous. 7 in women's, 5 in children's Sorel, but had to size up on these and went up to a children's size 6 to accommodate thick socks. Sorel is my absolute favorite!.
