Does anyone know if the hem can be tightened with a cord? Is a helmet going to fit under the hood as well?

There is no drawcord in the hem to tighten it around the hips. It does have a powder skirt, which when snapped together prevents any wind or snow from entering the jacket from the bottom. None of the jackets worn by the girls appear to be helmet-compatible.
