In no way!
This coat was purchased for my 8-year-old son, and he loves it. I'm not sure what size you require, but it is a lovely warm coat.
It's a darker light blue with a hint of purple. Teal isn't a color that comes to mind when I think of it. It is, however, quite lovely. It is a big hit with my daughter. And she gets a lot of compliments. I hope this helps!

It is a perfect fit. It appears to be exactly as shown in the photo. She stands 4'2" tall and weighs 50 pounds.
We had low-twenties temperatures here, and she said she was toasty. She was never a kid who enjoyed playing in the snow because she was always cold, no matter how many layers she put on, which she didn't like because she couldn't move around well, and she stayed out in the snow for hours with this coat. She also mentioned that recess at school was a lot nicer because the sleeves don't let any air in and she can tuck her hands inside the sleeves if she needs to, and the coat is just so warm and soft. br>I'm very impressed, and the price for such a high-quality coat is very reasonable. I bought another one in a 10/12 for her younger sister, who is 4' 6" tall and weighs 90 pounds, and it fits well. It doesn't have as much room in the arms and width as her sister's coat, but it's still fine with a sweater underneath, and the length is a little long, covering her butt, but she prefers it over the others. The North Face and Columbia, in my opinion, are better insulated and overall warmer.
However, it has a large size. I didn't expect it to be as heavy as it was. The fit is also a little boxy, and the sleeves are a little long, but my daughter loves it, so that's all that matters. She is ten years old and stands at a height of four feet and nine inches. I ordered it in a 10/12 size because it's a lot bigger than the size 10 Patagonia jacket that was recently lost at school, so I'm guessing we'll have this one for a couple of years if it holds up. The photo was taken immediately following the removal of the tags. The photo was taken in a dark room late at night, so the true blue color isn't visible. It's a lot more colorful now.
I decided to order my daughter's exact size after reading reviews and measuring her, as I normally size up to allow her to layer underneath and fit comfortably. It appears that we did size up, based on her exact measurements! Nonetheless, it's an excellent match. If you prefer a more snug fit, go down a size! br>I'm 5'3" and weigh 115 pounds, so her size 8 is nearly perfect for me. br>It's warm and cozy inside! Exactly what was said.
It was well worth the money to purchase this coat. I looked over the specifications and materials used in its construction and decided to give it a shot. It exceeded my expectations and was extremely well made, much to my surprise. Thick and insulted to keep my baby girl warm in the low 20s. You will not be disappointed if you decide to buy this coat for your child.
The coat is a bit on the big side, but it's a fantastic coat that keeps you warm. In most things, I'm an adult medium, and this coat is almost too big for me. It is very popular with my 12-year-old daughter. I'm about to buy one for my younger daughter because I think it's fantastic.
It's cute and of good quality, but my 16-year-old daughter is still tiny. wears- her- junior- high- I found the shoulder/underarm area to be a little constricting due to the uniform's small size. It was far too tight to wear over a hoodie, which is her go-to outfit these days, and I expect it to end up in the back of her closet. I'm going to let her keep this yellow faux fur puffer because it was the only one at a reasonable price, but I doubt she'll wear it after this winter.
Because my daughter does not like fur attached to the hood of her coats, I appreciate the ability to remove the fur lining as well as the hood entirely. The fleece lining is dark grey rather than black, as I had expected. It's a thick, heavy coat that'll keep you warm in the cold. She has worn the coat in temperatures as low as 20 degrees and has been very warm.
