Is it possible to take off the hood?

It doesn't detach in any way.

Aside from the price, what is the difference between sizes 4 and 4t?

I'm not sure, but I've always had the impression that a size "t" is a little smaller.

Is the gold jacket true to size, or does it run small?

She is 21 months old at the time of writing. For her age, she is quite tall. The sleeves are a little long on this little coat, but it fits perfectly. However, I appreciate the fact that she has a lot of room to develop. I'm hoping it will work for her again next winter! 🖤.

This is a lovely winter coat. It keeps you warm without being overly bulky. I purposefully bought it a size larger than it needed to be.
