Fit is true to size with these sandals.

A direct copycat style from the ladies is not being used here. In comparison with the adult version, there is a slight arch, but the width is less defined and smaller. There may be more information available on the Teva website about the features of this sandal
It runs on the large side. I purchased a size 4 big kids shoe for my daughter who wears a size 6 in ladies and they were at least an inch too big.

I am very satisfied with the purchase. In the summer of 2014, my granddaughter used her last pair of flip flops two summers in a row. Getting into water after running, climbing and climbing! Dresses look good with them, as well. As soon as she learned how to walk, she began wearing SeeKaiRun shoes. Her footwear is of very high quality, as she is a very energetic and adventurous girl. Child who is very athletic. The clothes (second-hand or bought at WalMart) are cheap when compared with what we buy for her. She did not wear them on her feet. The TEVA Sport Sandal is an excellent sandal that is exceptionally comfortable and well made. There isn't enough to say about it to be positive. There is a little bit of a sizing problem as they run a full size The last order we placed was for two sizes (1 and 2), as her last size was a 12, and she wore that for two years. As long as she has room to grow, we kept the one. This is what she loves! The same goes for us!.
In order to save them for next year, I decided to keep them It will take around that long for the shoes to fit.
There has always been something special about Teva shoes for me. Since my kids were very young, they have worn them all the time. We bought these shoes last year and my daughter loved them, so we bought them again this year. Our shipment arrived at the end of April, in May we had snow, so she has just now put them on and the soles have pulled apart from the shoes as a result. As her sandals are forbidden at school, she can only wear these shoes after school, so she basically wears them for about 2 weeks out of the year. A sole that has come apart does NOT belong there.

This is how the shoe looks According to reviews, the shoes are a bit large, but I found this to be untrue because I ordered a size smaller, as advertised, and they did not fit my child. You need to be careful who you buy from, as they are true to size. Since I can't get the product back, I have to pay an additional $5 to return since the size is too small. I wasn't even aware that the company I purchased from charged a $25 shipping fee and handling fee. "Prime" should have been written if that's what it said. As you can probably imagine, I am quite pissed off!.
This little sandal is great. During last week's shopping spree, my 8 yr old granddaughter and I visited at least five local stores to look for sturdy little girls' sandals. We found all other sandals flimsy and knew they were not going to last, so we thought we would give these a try. The construction of these is excellent. It is very easy to switch from bare feet to socks and adjust them as necessary with the Velcro straps. The last thing we want is for her squishy feet to slip out of her shoes and cause her to Color combinations like pink with silver sparkles were especially appealing to her. It was great to see that they held up all afternoon when she was climbing on them! Her school wardrobe will be full of different pairs of shoes before the summer is over, so she will have a few left by the time winter comes.
In her younger years, my daughter wore the Keen Seacamp or the Moxie shoe, yet those are no longer 'cool'. Because she is skinny with a narrow foot, it's difficult to find sandals that fit well, feel comfortable, and appear beautifully on her foot. The Teva Tirra is a favorite of hers that she wears almost every day. The top is comfortable for long walks and adjustable so it can be worn with leggings, shorts, skirts or dresses. Observations and a couple of outings suggest that the fishing is of high quality too after a couple of weeks of spring like weather.
There is a problem with the size. Even though I have bought many pairs of Tevas for my daughter, I was aware of that. It is normal for her to wear a size 10 These shoes are the BEST for summer. I normally wear a size 11, but I bought a size 12 and they fit perfectly. The pants can be dressed up and down for daycare, the pool, the lake, etc. they can get wet and simply be sprayed off or thrown in the dryer afterwards. It's hard for me to pick a favorite summer shoe when it comes to Teva. I have two pairs of them and they are still going strong, but they are a little smaller than I like. I will stay with Teva for all my summer shoe needs. It's true, my son has a pair of these too (not this style) and his are also in pristine condition.
This style sandal has been purchased by my daughter in the past and she Their comfort and function well in water make them a good choice. However, this year's pair broke just after a couple months of wearing, when the strap broke off the sandal base. It seemed to be just a defective pair, so we bought another pair for a few weeks and they too lasted just a short time. This is not a good type of sandal to buy. I was very disappointed in Teva after following their rule to ship them back but you still have to be responsible for shipping and there is no guarantee they will refund you after the defect is assessed.
