Questions & Answers

I'm an adult with a 21-inch head size, and I'm thinking a kid's size rambler sombrer would be better for me, but what size m l should I get?

I have a 20" circumference head and purchased the children's medium, which is slightly larger but still comfortable. I don't know what the large circumference is, but the medium fits me perfectly.

Is there a color match between cobalt and glacier?

They're not the same. Glacier has a more subdued appearance.

Is this something that can be thrown in the washing machine?

Yes. I've used them in both traditional and high-efficiency washing machines. To keep the brim in shape, I lay it flat or hang it up to dry.

Is there a hidden pocket beneath the surface?

The hat does not have a pocket.

From the hat's tag, a size chart has been created
5/5

Because it isn't quite summer yet, my son has only worn this hat a couple of times, so I'll try to remember to update later. He says the hat is very comfortable and that he likes it so far. I like how the back is wider to cover his neck, and the strap under his chin will keep the hat in place on windy beach days. Because I couldn't find the size chart on my phone, I wanted to share the information from the tag with anyone else looking for accurate sizing. I bought a M for my four-year-old, and it fits perfectly with some room for growth. If you're on the fence about which size to get, I'd recommend going up because it has a cord that can be tightened around the head as well as under the chin. br>*Size Chart

Do not be put off by the hype! In addition, it is water resistant
5/5

UPDATE: br>Kid is five years old. Now that I've reached 5, I'm on the verge of reaching 2. He still wears this hat almost every time we spend any significant amount of time outside, even though it's been five years. That's quite a lot for us. The brim is still in excellent condition, despite being subjected to a great deal of abuse. Apart from his puddle jumpers, no other worn child item has received as much use, abuse, love, and time as this hat. Simply purchase it for your child. You will not be sorry. This is your chicken dinner winner if you're looking for an all-in-one type of hat for the kiddo that covers your bases in wet, dry, windy, and super hot weather. Because many of the reviews I read gave contradictory information or appeared confused, I included the hat's sizing tags as well as the hat itself. I'm looking forward to all of our future adventures in this hat, and I'm confident that he'll be protected! Also, the Khaki color is ideal; it's a grayish Khaki that looks great on everyone. br>br>Before settling on this one, I tried on a few other kid hats. We live in Florida, where it is extremely hot. And WET. We needed a light, water-resistant hat that would provide adequate coverage without being cumbersome or unsightly, as dressing the part of "dino park ranger" has become increasingly important. I like how there's a loop that goes around the neck with a release tab near the top of the left ear that's not easy to release but would if forced. The majority of the kid's hats I found either had Velcro or didn't have it at all. The fact that the head size can be adjusted is also a plus! This is the perfect size for my almost three-year-old son. However, in windy conditions, you can tighten the waistband to help or just improve the fit (he prefers his a little loose). And the water simply rolls off the hat in all directions. The brim can get wet over time, but it doesn't drip in his eyes, and the brim is flexible but sturdy, so it won't flap in his face like the other kid bucket hats we tried. The brim will flatten out if worn in a car seat or stroller, but the wearer will still find it uncomfortable. Although I wasn't thrilled to pay nearly twice as much for this hat as most similar kid hats on Amazon, I'd gladly pay it again after seeing it in action during the breezy, hot, and humid downpours that we get here in Florida during the summer.

ONE OF THE BEST SUN HATS ON THE MARKET! ONE OF THE BEST SUN HATS ON THE MARKET! We've had these hats for our four kids (ages 6 to 12) for a long time
5/5

13) over a long period of time. The brim of the hat is quite wide and does not blow around much in the wind. The khaki and blue hats appear to be boyish, whereas the pink (or whatever they call it) hat appears to be feminine, despite the fact that they are otherwise identical. The strap has a latch that separates if too much weight is placed on it, preventing it from becoming caught and choking. Although they are not waterproof, my children report that they are useful on rainy days at day camp. My four children don't mind wearing them because they are more comfortable in them than they are without them. Furthermore, almost every time we wear them out, another parent inquires as to where we purchased them. My only recommendation is to get the large size, even if you're shopping for a toddler, because the smaller sizes have smaller brims. We had purchased a smaller one for our third when she was a toddler, but ended up purchasing a large and simply tightening it (she's worn the same hat for seven summers).

This hat is one of our favorites! I'd like to see more size guidelines
5/5

Without knowing what size it was for, I bought a medium on the spur of the moment. So, here's what I've learned to assist future customers: br>Large 6 br>Large 6 br>Large 6 12 yearsbr>Medium 3 yearsbr>12 yearsbr>12 yearsbr>12 yearsb 6 yearsbr>However, I'm still unsure about the ages for which a small is appropriate. Something under the age of three. br>As for the hat itself, we think it's fantastic. I like how it has a tightenable under-chin strap as well as a tightenable elastic around the head. This is a hat that I strongly suggest!.

Adults with smaller heads will appreciate the size of this hat
5/5

My hat size is 21 1/2. I've never been able to find a hat that fits me, with the exception of when I was in the military. Because I live in Florida, I require sun protection for any outdoor activity, and this hat meets my needs perfectly. I like how it looks and how well it fits in a Medium size. After reading some reviews, I was concerned that the hat, being designed for children, would be amusing. It appears to be fantastic! The lanyard cannot be removed from the hat, which is my only criticism. That is a minor annoyance. If you're an adult with a smaller head, this hat is perfect for you! It's wonderful to find a hat that is just right for you!.

I'm a middle-aged woman with a small head, and the smallest size sits lower on my forehead than I'd like; I haven't tried the smallest size
4/5

I'm a middle-aged woman with a small head, and my head circumference at the forehead is 20. 5". I bought a child size medium, and believe it or not, the crown of the hat is a bit big, so it sits lower on my forehead than I would like, despite the fact that I can adjust the inside diameter. I haven't tried the smallest size because I expected the medium to fit. br>Apart from that, I really like the hat. I wore it all day, digging through rocks and heavy roots in the scorching heat of summer. I had to use the chin strap to keep my hat on my head while bending over, but it wasn't too hot and provided excellent coverage for my face and neck.
