Yes. I've been wearing it in the pool because my niece refuses to wear it. I like how the size can be adjusted. I would have chosen a different pattern if I had known I was going to wear it!

Ideal for a preschool setting outside

This hat is ideal for my four-year-old's outdoor preschool program. It's small and portable, and it folds up easily to fit into her bag. It has a ponytail hole to accommodate her preferred hairstyle, and it's adjustable so it'll grow with her. She is in the 99% of her height range, so the 6- 8 year old but I believe her head is 70%. br>br>Of course, it keeps the rain, sun, and ticks away from her, but she really likes the colors and the unicorn. design of flowers.

The ventilation keeps her head cool, but there's plenty of room for shade on the head and neck area, which is perfect for my toddler who gets hot easily but needs head coverage outside.

The adjustable elastic strap in the back is ideal for children who are rapidly growing - It's a good fit for my 7-year-old daughter. The ponytail hole is also a nice touch. My only gripe is that the brim was folded in half when it was shipped, leaving a permanent crease in the brim's foam.
