Is it easy to wash and dry this hat?

With the sun on it, it dries fairly quickly. It takes longer to finish the rim, because the material is thicker. Then we swam in the ocean and got it wet. Aside from washing and drying, I've also aired it. I've had no problems with it.

How does the brim behave in the wind (for boating)? Does it fly up or stay down?

That may depend on your steps and how fast you are traveling as well as the angle from which you are wearing it. If a bass boat is running full speed, it will flap downwards or upwards. I don't think it'll cause the brim to fly up on a pontoon boat. My bass boat requires me to wear mine. My husband drives fast and the whole hat flies off when he is going normal speed. I tighten it on my head so it does not fly off.

Our trip to Rocky Mountains left us with very hot tops of our heads after spending a short time in the sun without this hat. I had a headache each and every time I brought this home. I bought this for my children, but when they complained and took off their hat, I gave them my cap since I have no hair. The only way I realized that in this particular case, saving money was not worth it was through this realization. Better quality items should be purchased at a higher price.

Besides the ponytail slot, the brim of the hat is very wide as well as providing good sun cover. This is the 5-pack that I purchased It would fit her in size 12 if she grew with it. In her size, she wears a 5T or 4/5. It is a bit large, but not too big and I think she will be able to wear it in the future. She is in love with it and wore it all day when.

So I thought of trying this kid's sun hat instead. With my small head, this was the perfect fit. I cannot really tell the difference, but it is perhaps just a little bit smaller than what I am used to seeing. I like the colors and the quality of the garment. There is an adult and child size I recommend I found something of great value! These have been gifts I have given to my friends and they are always appreciated. There may be some people who have the same problem finding a hat that fits. I hope this will be useful.

A similar product was bought twice, but one was much bigger than the other

Despite ordering the same size in two different colors, I received the same size. A large one is located on the left and a small one on the right. It was packaged in the same size and shape as they arrived. Trying to obtain another one of the same size seems to be difficult to me since I'm not sure which one is correct.

Despite the fact that my granddaughter is 10, this hat is too small for her. The age of 10 is still a child, isn't it? Probably I bought it too early, because when I bought it I assumed it would be perfect and the return window ended on.

A cute hat, but it was bent and creased when it arrived

hat, itself, is lovely, but it came folded up and creased on the bill and rim, and it hasn't straightened out yet. I hope a steamer can smooth out the top, since it is so creased. The outfit for my daughter looks silly at first glance after it has been taken out of the envelope. My wish for Amazon sellers would be that they would be more thoughtful when it comes to packaging/shipping. As long as it doesn't break down from being bent, I hope that the hat will straighten out. If it isn't clearly better after sitting for a few days (I have had it for a few days and there has been little change in the bill from when I received it).

Women with small heads will find this to be a good fit

I'm too tall to wear hats that are made for women. The first time I learned this was when I went into a sportswear store to try on hats while at the beach. The girl went home and purchased a hat in a peach color. I had a hard time wearing the peach because my husband teased me all over the place. Blue is a color I already wear on several swimsuits, so I decided to purchase this in a blue pattern. He tells me I have a guys hat now! In any case, this works well to keep the sun off my fair skin (Redhead) and I especially like how it has a pony tail holder.

The clothes I bought for my 6 yr old were the right size

Despite her curly long hair, she has a thin chin. Despite her ability to tighten it and keep her ponytail tied, she couldn't see very well. The brim of the hat was a little large and was making it difficult to see clearly. If in desire of sun protection, you could wear an Australian style hat, but it would defeat the purpose. The cute hate but the difficulty in seeing it.
