A foam and plastic prop replica of the Kingdom Key has been created.
This is my preferred Keyblade out of all the off brands and Hot Topic versions because I think it's the most accurate in terms of scale and looking like the original. There may be some thinner patches of silver on the crown of the blade, but that is the only drawback.
My guess is that the product will be made of durable plastic for $40.

I have no words to describe how poor the quality is. There is a statement that the sword is made of "high quality Eva foam. " But I have to say that it is by far the cheapest and worst foam sword I have There is horrible paint on the foam, and it is cheap. It bends and creases just by putting your hands on **I have bought foam keyblades from China in the past that are far superior to these. I don't think there's much to be said about either the plastic holt or chain. This keyblade is made from a cheap plastic, and the manufacturer could have constructed a foam keyblade more quickly and economically using a single mold, rather than piecing foam and plastic pieces
On the key of the blade, there is only a weak glue and a thin layer of paint holding it in place. I noticed that the blade was already pulling away from the box as soon as I took it out. You might want to save your money on this one, since it is only worth about $10 at most and should only be found in a dollar store.
Just to be clear, here's what I mean. Generally, I am satisfied with the size. Despite the blade being thick, and the hilt being big as it should be, the sword still feels weighty. It looks really nice with the leather handle and the textured appearance of the As well, it is detachable unlike most other keyblades (fake or bought from other stores like the Pumpkin Head keyblade pictured) which I like. The blade is foam and squishy, but is not bendable since it is quite There is no metal in the hilt or chain of the gun. The material isn't the strongest, but it isn't as cheap as you might think. It's not bad at all for $35 to get a licensed product.
Having been very eager to receive this Keyblade for about a month now, I received it yesterday. At first glance, it seemed too good to be true that a life-sized replica was being offered for a fraction of the cost of the super expensive replica Keyblade that's been on the market for quite some time. But as it turns out, it was a lie. This is the first time I've seen such an excellent blend of craftsmanship and shottiness in one piece. The part of the description that says the blade is made from "EVA foam" has always made me uncomfortable ever since I ordered it. Honestly, I cannot comprehend why they chose this material for their project. I will tell you what's going on. As far as the hilt, and hand guard (the golden part) are concerned, the Keyblade is almost perfect. The proportions and size of the blade are ideal, and that is something that a lot of current Keyblades struggle with. I have seen so many Kingdom Keys for sale that are terrible because the proportions are all off. In this case, the PDP Keyblade doesn't have any such issue. Further, the Mickey keychain is definitely a great addition (and it is I really like it. But then you get to the "blade" part of the Keyblade, and everything falls apart. While the foam blade is still shaped correctly (which is good), it suffers from a huge seam running the length of it, and has a paint job that is just plain awful. This blade looks as if it has just been coated with silver aerosol spray paint. The paint is not evenly applied to the "teeth" of the blade, which looks particularly bad. Throughout this blade are small clumps of paint that result in these hard little balls of paint that I would like to remove with a razor, but I'm afraid to do so to prevent unpainted foam from exposing itself This blade has even been painted with a fingerprint that was visible during the There is also a small amount of looseness in the blade where it attaches to the handguard, so it shakes around and makes a noise when the keyblade is shaken. I want to let you know, if you read this, that you came very close to doing something incredible. Overall, the shape of the piece is excellent, and every component of the piece that is actually plastic is highly appealing. How come there is so much There is nothing cool about this prop because it has foam on it. This is a bad-looking piece of equipment, as well as the paint used on it. Instead of going with a polycarbonate Keyblade, why not go with a fully plastic one? The most obvious reason is cost, but how much of a decrease in production does this terrible blade really save? My heart is broken due to your actions, PDP, and I can only blame you for that. You should take responsibility for it.
I love the foam you can play with it without risking any serious damage, but what do you expect? This would be a great keyblade to make if you want to build your own but have a limited budget and are short on time or materials. ****** ******.
The only reason it gets 5 stars is that it is not the perfect Keyblade, but it is close enough for someone searching Aside from being accurate in color and size, the key chain is one of the most impressive aspects, in addition to looking great. The following imperfections can be seen after a closer inspection It most resembles a brand new toothbrush. However, you will notice some slight differences in the paint along the foamed blade, some wrinkles where the blade was bent during packing, and the ribbing on either side of the blade. In terms of imperfections, they are very easy to ignore. You shouldn't pass up the opportunity to buy it for $35. This is because the blade is made of foam rather than wood or plastic, and the weight is not correct. People aren't going to care about that if they just want a stylish Keyblade to display as a decorative piece or to use as a cosplay to be different from the crowd. Getting your hands on this Keyblade will make you feel like Donald and Goofy are about to embark on an adventure together.
I've seen a lot of complaints about the quality, but I don't believe it's that bad, especially considering how little you pay for something this large. In spite of the fall off the next day, I feel the quality isn't bad -- even if I bought it as a birthday gift for my 10 year old to use when cosplaying Sora. This one feels great. The weight is enough for him to carry it around, it doesn't feel bulky, and it looks great. The glass is not super high quality, so if you're looking for something high quality, spend your money elsewhere, but if you want something light and gorgeous, this is the perfect watch for you.
